I hadn't realized Sema (and I assume the other GLP1 peptides) were known to cross the blood brain barrier.

Makes sense, with my experience of "food noise". I had just assumed it was my gut brain doing the job.

Great article, thank you for posting it. It has helped me understand why even though I have not been hungry or had hunger pangs since last November, and I haven't had any cravings since then either, I can still quite enjoy the taste of food when I eat.

I don't bite my nails anymore and would say that while I still enjoy shopping as a sport, I no longer spend nearly as much as I used to. The health changes have been great, but these other non-scale victories make me think I may end up taking the drug in a microdose even after I don't need it for weight loss anymore.

When you think about the uphill battle many of us faced before these "miracle drugs", and the fact that many of us were doomed to a certain shortness of lifespan, Some of these questions seem trivial. Add to that the fact that it will end up saving countless monetary sums in the long run, you would think the government would start handing them out like condoms.
