A pen is...

Based on all the users comments I've seen; its the short needle. Try a longer one. I got 8mm for the KLOW, but some say longer.. we'll see..
I have the 8 mm's too, and can confirm that it's not a guarantee. I have tried an 8 mm needle, an 8 mm with a lot of rubbing after, an 8 mm with a lot of rubbing and then a shower, an 8 mm with a lot of vibration (I don't want to talk about how I got that done without buying a massage gun and I'll thank you not to ask), and a concentration of 14 mg/ml of the gck-cu. I have a few more things to try (an 8 mm into the thigh and then straight out to work out, a reduction of the dose by 25%, a reduction of the dose by 50%, a greater increase of the bac water and then the actual aneala protocol with the three pokes), and after that I'll just accept that doing KLOW means bruises in exchange for the non-bruised parts of my skin being prettier. Maybe. Man, if this was a boyfriend, I'd have broken up with him by now.

I havent tried their pen needles, but I bought the BD syringes and they actually hurt. The hype was wrong. I went back to the easy touch ones.
Actually not those, I use the Clearchoice comfort EZ ones.. for the peps that aren't in pens yet.

I bought sterilized cartridges but they don’t work well with automatic pens, which I prefer (too hard to push for the spring).
So now I use both types of cartridges, depending on the type of the next available pen.
Gansulin is my favorite all around, and Savvio for manual pens.
They both allow to detect what the remaining quantity in the cartridge is.
I may have missed it, but you mention you use both types of cartridges. Can you elaborate?
I’m noticing the same issues, where the plug is too hard to push for the spring.
If there’s a better cartridge, I’d like to take a look. Thanks!

Biggest thing with a pen for me is the needles are sharp sharp. Stabbing a vial with an insulin syringe noticeably dulls the needle

They are more convenient imo

The time saved giving injections with a pen vs syringe is eaten up in the time it takes me to prepare the pen cart. If you filter anyway it’s less of a difference

I hate wasting needles to vent the cart when filling

ME TOO! I've only done the filtering once so far, because it's just my KLOW so far, but I kept having to say "Stop that, randompersonrandom, the needles you're 'wasting' cost you eighteen cents a piece, and the filter you're 'wasting' on the vent ran you an extra two dollars and forty cents, and the entire filtering start to finish cost you six dollars and seventy two cents. If someone offered you a vial that was already filtered for six dollars and seventy two cents more, you'd happily pay it!"

Also, anybody know what's up with the bird pen being like 55 bucks on Ali express? I am over my V1 being hard to do one handed, went to grab a bird pen cause they're cheap, and ope, no they're not.

I noticed the pen I have tirz in clicks easily, the one I put Reta in is harder.. I wonder if there is anything I could've done initially before loading the cartridge, like do a bunch or preliminary pushes to get it loosened up. I can do them all one-handed, but I brace with my other hand so it doesnt move around. If yours is too hard, maybe take out the cartridge and try playing with it and reload?

THAT'S good to know; I've got two, one I bought for KLOW and the other for tirz, but I haven't loaded the tirz one cause I'm using up my brello vials. I'll try the next klow vial in the other one, see if it goes any easier. and now that you mention, I'll bet I COULD brace with the hand I'm pinching on.

I wish I was a spider and had more hands to work with, but if I was a spider, I would be neither fat nor have aging skin, so this would all be moot. Which I guess is a second point in favor of being a spider.

omg the pile of trash is obscene. I dont think we need the filter on the vent. I figured It's just because they sell them, that they did that.. But since two filters got blocked inside while I was filtering, I had to use 3 The previous time i filtered.
I just think back to how much I spent on compounded tirz and then I feel better.

I went back and forth, and I think I like the filter on the vent; if I do that, then I get to sit back and say "no outside air has ever gotten into this cartridge" before I chuck it in an old thermos, throw it in the fridge with all my food, and congratulate myself on my sterility.

peace of mind..
