My subject has been on tirz over a year, now st max dose and just maintaining. Still has quite a bit of weight to lose but experiences bad cravings and food noise, even at the 15 mg of tirz. Subject states that rhey do feel full faster then they did before starting tirz, but that effect feels like it is wearing off.

What are your recommendations to help with their cravings and food noise?

I would recommend taking careful notes of is being consumed. It might surprise your subject as it did my subject how swapping calories for protein makes the noise stay at bay

Now, if someone would quit pouring fine cask strength whiskey in a cup all the time....

I agree with @BooneDonk that protein satiates real hunger. A protein shake or protein rich meal should take care of hunger.

Addressing food noise and cravings is a nice side effect for some but not the primary indication for these drugs. You can gain weight eating through a gastric bypass and you can eat through these drugs. Maybe your subject needs to busy themselves with a distracting activity. I find that catching up on the forums and in doing so reminding myself I'm medicated helps. I also have a cat that's on my lap 24/7 and disturbing her compounds the guilt of grabbing a boredom snack. 😾
