Decided I'm done with syringe-in-vial, for anything. Sterile carts are as cheap as sterile vials, and I filter, so my stuff's getting transferred no matter what; so I may as well use a method that's convenient and more sterile.

And since I've been dabbling in different stuff, I wanted as many pens as I'm likely to be using different things; I had two V1's (exposed needle) and picked up five v2-type knockoffs on Ali express for ten bucks each. If I'm ever using more than seven different peps at once, I will go get another hobby.

These are nice and the one I moved my kpv to worked well. I was surprised that hiding the needle also hides some of the feeling of being poked. The cartridge holder is plastic instead of glass, which I don't love, but fine for ten bucks.

First pic, the new ones beside the V1, so you can see the size difference.

I did not like my V2 at all. Just wasn't smooth mechanically. Look into either a Humapen Savvio or an All-Star Pro. They're way more expensive ($40 vs say $9-20) than the V2 but it's such a better pen overall. I won't go back to vial and needle anymore. Just wait until you see a gansulin pen. 🤌😍

I prolly WILL run out of peptides to collect and start collecting pens eventually--I'll grab the gansulin then. I do like these a lot, though; they're definitely knockoff v2's, because they're smaller than the real v1 I have, and I think the real v2's are the same size. The mechanism is smoother than the v1, though. And I am so surprised by how much I like the needle-hide thing. Not for the hiding, but for the pressure around where the needle goes, and because I don't feel funny about a wrong angle.

I’ve been searching pens myself so thank you for the feedback on the V1 V2. I did look at the gansulin pen but have never used any pen so don’t know what I’m missing either way at this point. I have an order of GHK-cu and KPV so definitely looking for a pen for simplicity

Gansulin is an automatic pen, where you dial the dose and press a button and it goes. You don't actually inject anything, the pen does it. It can be expensive (AE has em for $115, but US sellers are anywhere from $52-80), but well worth it. The Bird pen is good, it's just made with plastic and the injection mechanism is a little odd, but it's auto too. That one is about $30.

Pens are so good, but there's so much extra waste involved. The vent needle, the plastic from that, the plastic from the cart wrapper, etc. Still, I won't go back to vial and syringe again and wondering if I'm truly at the unit line I need.

Plus, you don't need to worry about the needle dulling because you're sticking it into the vial first, then into you. Pen needles are sharp and go in smooth.

Thank you! I saw AE for the gansulin at $115 and was holy smokes versus a $20 v2 pen. I completely get the needle dulling though, I’ve had some ouch, especially early on

That's where I am; I'm not ready for a hundred dollar pen. The day may come when I've had enough of manual, and I have a burning desire for quality. For right now, I'm just super happy to have my ten-buck pens labelled and set up and ready to go. I never really saw the point of pens til I went to a pen for my klow, and now I'm to a point where I just don't want to mess with a syringe. Just wipe (it), screw on, click click click, wipe (me), jab, push, screw off, go about my business and no air added to my cartridge.
