Yeah, my thoughts are purely speculation - have not tried/experienced taking a break, however a quick google search will say that if you stop taking it for some reason you need to start with 2.5mg again instead of picking up where you left off. Just something to consider!

I have heard that if you take a 4-6 week break you can reset the receptors. I'd pause for 4 weeks and then start again at 2.5mg and make sure you give it a full week before increasing in .2mg steps at the most.
