I did my payment all from the comfort of my iphone. Bought btc on cash app, entered the wallet that my vendor provided and badabing-badaboom i was on my way to getting my peps. Doesn't need to be rocket science :) Vendor communication as long as you can verify it's an official channel use...

What's the hangup about Crypto? I was terrified my first crypto purchase, but it went just fine now it is super easy. Now I just keep a decent stash stored in my crypto wallet and I am ready to make purchases anytime. There are some group buys out there that will take Cash App, Zelle or...

Not sure how many people know this, but you can buy BTC on Cash App. I have it directly tied to my bank account, and can buy btc whenever needed. I have even used cash app to send btc over to vendors without issue. I get a small warning saying the receiving account might be a scam, but you can...

Update: I am not going to be able to do Alipay because my passport is expired. Current plan::: Signed up for Cash App. Scanned my Drivers License ID and Facial scan. They told me that it would take up to 10 days to get back to me for approval. If approved, I’ll buy BTC and then transfer...

    Issues sending BTC

I tend to stay in BTC territory - and mainly use Blue Wallet - which is delightfully simple to use. As a recent convert to crypto, I find this to be the easiest. Exodus? Way too complicated, in my view. Also, I have a couple of debit cards that each only work with certain apps. For example, I...

    Issues sending BTC

You should move your BTC to a decentralized wallet like Trust once unlocked. AML algos flagged the vendor. Not a redflag but happens with all KYC centralized exchanges (ie Coinbase, Cash App, Kraken). It will continue to happen with many vendors and your account will eventually be closed until...

    New to all this

I think most, if not all, vendors accept cryptocurrency as a payment option. It’s often the safest and cheapest choice, especially since vendors that take PayPal, credit cards, or similar methods tend to have higher fees or prices to offset the fees. It also protects you from potential account...

I have no idea how to use crypto safely to make a purchase.

I'm not sure if someone said this already, but if you have cash app, they make it insanely easy to purchase and send crypto. You can switch from $ to crypto when you purchase so you don't have to do the math yourself. Buying crypto on cashapp is pretty straight forward just don't be nervous and...

Greenlight prepaid card → crypto → vendor... stuck, need workarounds?

I may have advanced things slightly - I did the following: sign up to Cash App- then using the Greenlight debit card, purchased about $73 to the Cash App, then, after that was achieved, and the money was now 'free' from the prepaid card, I bought BitCoin - and then , (I first tried Exodus - but...

I think its similar to PayPal Venmo Cash App But Chinese version! :D Dunno, really , since I figured out Crypto ( TY again @foxgirl wherever you are! ) I just spend USDC, its a stable coin and most vendors accept it.

crypto for idiots (aka me) lol

Thank you, I will look into that one. Honestly, for as much crypto as I have bought and sold, you'd think I'd have a handle of this whole purchase items side of things...but when I was buying and selling, I could do it easily on non kyc sites, but those are now a thing of the past. Sold...

I like Muun wallet to hold and send BTC. No KYC but it only holds BTC and BTC lightning. Lately I have had to exchange my BTC for stable coins for one vender who stopped taking BTC. I used Exodus and there were fees. The most simple way to buy BTC that I have seen is Cash App but there is...

I wouldn't recommend using Paypal and sending the crypto directly to the vendor that way. I've read enough stories of people having their accounts closed out doing this. I've never used cashapp but I'm sure the same could happen there too. I'd recommend buying the Cryptocurrency on...

I've been using PYUSD then transferring it to Exodus wallet then Vendor as per the STG crypto guidelines. My other way is to buy crypto with Exodus using XO pay, paying with Apple Pay, then I don't have to transfer it but it's 4% fee. I haven't tried cashapp yet.

  24. crypto for idiots (aka me) lol

I did exactly that, followed the same basic steps that are listed for PayPal/cash app/etc. The cash hold from Coinbase was really the only difference. I had to wait like 5 or 6 days for the ach from the bank to clear before I could transfer to Exodus.

Finally hooked into Crypto, made my first purchase, so much easier than i thought!!!!!

I tired venmo and did not like that. but for me Cash app was WAY easy. It linked to my bank fast. When I need a quick 3 or 500 bucks for the Kangaroo's medicine ... with in a few seconds it's ready to buy BTC.

Hi, tried using PayPal but the hold time is wacky! I transfer from debit card to PP, buy crypto, then sell, and want to transfer to vendor. I think the most simple way is to buy Bitcoin on Cashapp then send it to a non custodial wallet (I use muun wallet) and send it to vendor. When you first use bitcoin on cash app you have to jump through some hoops to verify who you are but that is only the first time. I have never seen a...

If someone truly wanted your SSN, they would get it. More US-based vendors moving toward Crypto-based payment?

Bitcoin kinda sucks as a medium of exchange. USDT on ERC20, Solana or Tron are probably your best bet, lowest friction UX. Monero and or ZCash if you want to preserve privacy as done in DNMs.

More US-based vendors moving toward Crypto-based payment?

Personally, I love Zelle. I sent a one-day wire from my bank account for “books” which was more convenient than moving coin from my cold wallet. As far as laws are concerned, “I bought Freeze Dry Powder Facial Mask, Dear, they’re clearly labeled” 😆

Crypto.com made it so much easier for me!
