Needing vendors who accept something other than cryptocurrency

Hello, I have spent hours today trying to get cryptocurrency and it's a bust. Cash app won't let me send it anywhere (wasted $20 in fees for that), and other sites tell me that my state is not allowed or requires a photo ID, and mine is coming in the mail in a few weeks. Who are some vendors that accept something other than crypto and are not wicked expensive?

I bought from Amino Lair when I wanted something that my usual vendor didn't have at the time. They're a little more expensive, but they took Venmo.

Assuming that you do in fact live in Texas, it seems that Exodus is allowed. At least according to my internet research, the Exodus wallet will work in all states except New York.

I was about to say the same thing. I'm not techy at all but I used CashAp to
buy and transferred to my exodus wallet. I felt so accomplished lol

Try SEARCH window in upper right of your screen. Enter the payment you prefer [ i.e. I prefer Paypal] then read which sources will accept your payment mode. So far, I’m still crypto phobic, but I easily trade with a vendor who calls me “Dear!”

State side and more expensive you can use Nexaph and pay by credit card. Plus get it like Amazon delivery fast.

Sure there are more but these two I personally have experience with and use.

GYC quit taking paypal for new customers and went to crypto only if you've never bought from them.

Nexaph went to other pay methods as well besides credit cards for customers as well (I know they let established customers use CC but unsure if they opened back up to everyone) due to huge amounts of charge backs. I haven’t ordered from them in awhile but the last time I saw their TG, it was still up in arms over it.

Frankly, I'm surprised that "conventional", non-crypto payment methods have lasted as long as they have. I honestly thought by now crypto would be the only way to pay unless people were so desperate that they started using things like Western Union and MoneyGram.

Enjoy it while it last folks. While my magic ball may be bad at figuring out when it will happen, there's no doubt in my mind that eventually a day is going to come where cards, PayPal, Venmo, etc. are simply not going to be an option anymore.

There are stable coins that are pegged to the US dollar with very little fluctuation like USDC, USDT, and PYUSD (maybe others ?)

While some vendors only accept BTC, I stay away from it because of the volatility plus I’m not as fluent with crypto and tend to move slower with my transactions. Some prefer BTC because it is sent over its own network while the stable coins above have to be sent over the network that matches the network of the receiver.

If a Boomer can figure it out, so can you. Plenty of people much more knowledgeable than me on this forum who can walk you through the process.

It's not that bad for 400 or less. May gain 4 bucks or lose 7 over a week. Just make ur purchase within a day or two after you buy the crypto.

Yes, idiots doing chargebacks ruined these payment options for everyone else.
Not to mention vendors and GBOs have PayPal/Venmo etc accounts get seized and shut down with no warning and they lose their funds. This is not a risk they want to take. Crypto is not that hard. An abundance of resources on these forums are available to help learn it.

I'm happy a vendor did Paypal for me. Actually two of them. But one was FF so we'll see if it shows up. They were on here so I took a chance. The cost is SO MUCH LESS than what I paid to stateside sellers...who must be making a killing since they charge more for one vial what I paid for a kit of 10. Good for them. Not so much for me.🙄
If only I could have got the VA doc to just authorize the stuff! Too late now. I'm nowhere near the bmi necessary to prescribe. Bunch of red tape she wanted me to go through with "weight management team"! smh She wanted me to take THEIR pills for BP and other issues that I got under control simply by eating better...less. I've used crypto for years now, it seems complicated at first but as you get going its not too bad. You basically need a wallet that allows you to buy and send in one place, if you want the lowest friction.

In my setup, I fund a wallet, where I can deposit cash to. Purchase whatever crypto then send that to another burner wallet (meaning new wallet not tied to my ID) and use that to send off. Yes, in my case there are fees associated with these transactions but I don't mind. Personally I prefer to use USDT - which is pegged to the dollar.

If you need help maybe I can record a tutorial or document showing the steps?

I'm a total techno idiot (75F) and can't get my head around crypto! At all! I'm in the UK which complicates matters further. Vendors I have used very successfully and fairly recently are HK peptides ( bank transfer), QYC(Paypal) and ERP (Paypal). I think APS and HRM allow PayPal but I have not ordered from them. It appears that vendors start selling allowing PayPal payments and then their accounts get suspended. JEC and JEEP no longer permit PayPal.
