I think the batch is still June, just a recent test from our friends.

You can't really, you're just at the mercy of however the vendor labels. Some of them (like Jeep and GYC) put the date in their batch numbers. You can trust that as much as you trust batch numbers, but I suppose if people test and see more than +/-10% differences that would be a warning. Without batch numbers all you have is cap/crimp color, which is REALLY weak, and obviously there's no date on them.

I just bought 2 kits from MIX for 210 a pop shipped from the US in under a week. Seems like JEEP built their reputation quickly and are now trying to ruin it just as fast. Oh well, when one vendor falls, another steps up.
