I started Tirz on Jan 23, 2026. I have no clue what my starting weight was, but I was 242.4 when I finally stepped on the scale on Feb 15.
Today is 150 days on Tirz...to which I added Reta in April. And the scale read 192.4, exactly 50lbs in 150 days.

I'm a professional weight loser, and gainer. The gaining part is so easy, whereas the losing part always required near total focus, to the benign neglect of a lot of other things. With glp, it's neither all-consuming, nor physically, intellectually, and emotionally exhausting.

Still, taking my kid to the water park today, definitely gonna float down the lazy river.

People whose weight gain sneaks up on them a couple of pounds a year amaze me. I'm a teacher, and I can gain 30-40lbs over the school year, and then spend my summer hyper focused on losing ten pounds a month. Over and over and over again. I'm so thrilled to have found a better way. That I lost weight during the school year without having to obsess made me a better teacher, a better mom, a better whatever else I was able to do because I wasn't spending every waking moment focused on weight loss.

Good job!! I used Reta to lose 70 pounds due to Prednisone use. I reached my athletic goal weight and backed off on the Reta dose. Sure enough weight is climbing a bit despite no changes in diet. I may have to remain on it to maintain weight. Pred is the devil himself.

Yeah, I have no intention on coming off these or better iterations of these meds. I'm one of those "healthy" fats, where everything is "fine," except it clearly never was from some metabolic standpoint.

YES!!!! Get it! So happy that this has made it easier for you. What a great accomplishment and I’m sure you feel better and lighter. Also, your pre-GLP monthly losses of 10lb/mo are impressive, but I’m glad you can now do it without stressing/consuming focus.

Also a big yay for educators past and present on here! (I’m on summer break right now and need a way to make up the 4-5K steps I get at school, cuz I’m an introvert hermit and it’s hot AF outside. Looks like I gotta clear space for my old-school NordicTrak! Stay safe during the heat waves everyone!)

I mean, yes, but my circa 2012 tailored sportsman breeches I definitely bought second hand and just dug out today are still a good 15 pounds away. And my miss me jeans with the rhinestone behind 😂😂😂😂
