1st shot 5/25

You see, I really can't recommend 1mg except maybe for people who're really really sensitive or who already have their appetite/diet under control.

I've watched two people in my family start at 1mg and go up to 2mg after 4 weeks. It strikes me as a very creative way to waste your time and fuck up the drug's effectiveness for the future.

One of them, my mom, had to go up to 6mg a week from 4mg because 5mg didn't do enough for her. I think 1mg desensitizes you to the drug very quickly. You only need 1-2 weeks to acclimate to it and 3-4 weeks to get over most of the side effects.
I have read some study info that starting lower helps with adaptation, or plasticity as they call it, and helps to reduce side effects tremendously as someone titrate up. Starting at a hgher dose showed that the body never adapted and side effects remained much higher in those in that group.

All the side affects are basically gone for me, except the sleep issue. Waiting to hear from my cardiologist on two things I want to try for sleep.

You read some random person saying that, not a study. You definitely don't want to start too high, or titrate too quickly, but what you do want is to start at or near an effective dose. You'll lose your sensitivity to the drug if you start too low and you'll have to take a higher dose to achieve the same effects that others achieve with less.

I started at 2mg back first week of January. I had minimal side effects, Had some heartburn at night and maybe some bloated feelings. Those are long gone, but sleep which started late in the 6mg doses continues. I'm at 9mg now. I have no side effects besides sleep, so that kind of proves that theory false. Everyone is different though.

OR, you dont know everything at 28 and it was a study...

Source on the content you pasted? Looks like AI.

The studies started at 2mg and 4mg.
Here, let me quote a recent post I read and commented on:

"No, I will not source my claim, because I'm not a nerd. Use Google."

😂

Right. Well, the text in your image is AI generated so I have to assume that the data is as well – or is at the very least, potentially misrepresented. They're your monkies and I can't tell you what to do with them!

Edit: Just looked into it and the research you're referencing doesn't exist. You may have been reading misinterpreted data regarding GI tolerability at lower doses. Specifically, that verbiage of "plasticity" and "adaptation" hasn't been used.
