Completely New & have done a lot of reading to make sure I know as much as possible. Found supply site reading through posts here.

I was wondering if one of you seasoned experts would please check my supply list & make sure I'm not forgetting anything. I read up on everything & want to make sure (literally anything I ever order I always have to go back & do another I don't want to make a mistake, ha ha). I would really appreciate it!

2 refillable pens
5pk pen cartridges **I need to replace this with every refill right?
Pen needles 32g 4mm x100
Hospira Sodium Chloride 30ml **I was reading this makes injections less painful? Not planning to use together, just instead
Hospira Bac water 30ml
BD Blunt fill needle w filter x5 **Does this replace needing other filters for filtering? Do I throw this away after use?
3ml Luer Lock syringe barrels x5 **Do I throw this away after use?
Luer Lock Syringe Tips x5 30g 1/2"
BD Precision Glide Syringe x5 25g 3CC 1"
Insulin syringes x25 31g 8mm **In case I end up needing them

I could have sworn I had more in my cart (I remember price was higher) but I restarted my computer of course & had to start over.

Thank you for taking the time to look this over & any advice given. I really appreciate it!! 🙂

I don't know about the NaCl BAC -- maybe someone who has used it can chime in.

I also don't know about the needles with filters. I can't find what kind of material the filter is made from, and it's a 5 micron. I use Tisch 0.22 micron PES filters (PES is the protein-sparing filter media).

You don’t need blunt needle filters unless you’re going to be using something in an ampule. If you’re going to filter into your pen carts, those are different filters (22 micron PES in your preferred size, usually 4 mm or 13 mm).

We don’t know what reconstitution medium you need (BAC is sufficient for most of your run-of-the-mill peps).

I’d suggest you decide what peps you’re going to research first and then decide what supplies you need after you order your compounds.

And to say this as delicately as I can, you have a lot more reading to do. Yes, you dispose of your syringes (even the ones you only use to draw BAC) after each use. Yes, you dispose of your cartridge after you’ve used and emptied it. You need to do a lot more reading on sterility. There are lots of great resources and links to videos that explain the reconstitution and filtering process

Those are for use with glass ampoules which require the top of the glass to be cut off. The needle with the 5 micron filter allows the liquid to be filtered out without drawing bits of glass into the needle. They are not for sterile filtering. Need to use the filters mentioned by Not_Your_Dad for sterile filtering.

Dont forget to buy yourself a proper sharps bin too. They're cheap and much safer to have around the house/for the waste disposal people that collect your trash!

Just go to injection shop dot com and buy one of his already put together kits. Has everything you need for several vials. Then you'll have exactly what works and can just buy more as needed.
Exactly what I did. It made much more sense after seeing the actual supplies.

Thank you all for taking time to reply. I really appreciate it!! I'm deciding whether to start with Tir or Reta I should have been more clear with what the supplies are for

Yes they don't sell sharps bin on the site I saw recommended here, so ordering that separate (Amazon) since its not something I need to be worried about perfectly sterile like the Hospira

I did also order a larger pack of sterile individually wrapped alcohol pads separately & a lidocane lotion (baby with needles, ha ha)

Thank you! I appreciate it 🙂
Just cause nobody explained it to me, I had to figure it out. Bacteriostatic water has 0.9% benzyl alcohol and it helps keep things from growing in a vial that is gonna get multiple draws. It's just a little extra insurance to kill icky stuff. And no, it doesn't make it burn. It's not really that kind of alcohol.

Thank you for taking the time to tell me too. I just thought the sodium chloride had that in addition & made it less painful, I dont know, ha ha 🙂

I buy from them frequently and they give at least a 5% discount to forum users. Best price on actual "H" brand BAC I've found. I still use Peptide Test for some recon supplies, but I don't mind shopping around and saving a few bucks.

All the glass ampoules I’ve encountered (20 in the past month alone) are OPC - one point cut - they have a distinct marking on the narrowest part of the neck - you place your thumb above the mark and then snap away from the marking. There are no glass shards to speak of and I’ve never filtered. Any bits of glass would undoubtedly be too large to get caught up in my 25g needle, and any bits would have about a 99.9% chance of going anywhere other than inside the ampoule.

Let me know what kind you decide on. I'm trying to figure out which pen I want in case I decide I wanna do a daily pin.
Gota couple different ones in my order that I read good things about Humapen Ergo 2, Mrs Goodlife. Waiting for them to arrive 🙂

Thank you for recommending the kit so strongly—I’d been thinking about it and this was the push I needed. First order placed-will pin for the first time when it arrives 😊

I'm going to start with the Mrs Goodlife pen, read some good things about it. Just doing 1x a week to start, but Im a baby with needles & thats the best option to choose some of the thinnest shortest ones (32g 4mm) + not get dull from drawing 1st. Ill let you know what I think 🙂
