I’ve seen both people that say stacking the two is pointless and some say that it really helped them. Some say the appetite suppression from the tirz worked well with the reta and some say they were more hungry after adding the reta. Some said the reta helped with fatigue

I was considering just starting at .5mg reta and increasing by .5 every five days to see if it helped.

I guess what I can take away from other experiences is that it seems very individualized and works different for everyone. I think I’ll try it?

Is it not an option to increase your tirz dose instead and see if that continues working for you?

I stacked the two but switched to Reta for now.

It’s an option but I kind of want to switch to reta anyway and have a bunch of tirz on hand. My thinking is burn through the tirz and add a very small reta dose for the metabolism benefits

If it’s a bad idea I can ratchet up the tirz to 3mg every 5 days and see how that goes. According to shotsys calculations I top out about 4mg in my system at this dose

Yeah if you want to switch just switch. But if it's because of results on tirz you need to increase your tirz slowly to at least 10 before you declare it a failure.

Ok I’ll burn through my tirz then switch later

15mg is the standard dose used in all of the testing that went on for years and cost tens of millions of dollars. Staking at only 2.5mg defies any scientific purpose or reason
Exactly! Especially for reta, which is still unknown and has some potential cardiac side effects.

I concur with everyone else about just sticking with Tirzepatide. I had my best results when I did 2x/week dosing, i.e. 2 mg Tue AM & Fri PM. I would tinker with dose and timing before adding another variable into the mix.

I’m doing 2.5 every five, I tried doing 3 days then 4 and got horrible horrible diarrhea. I’ll give it a week or two more and try to increase it again

You can gry increasing each dose by 0.5mg. After horrible sulfur burps the first time I tried to titrate up via the normal titration schedule, I started doing that and it was a lot easier on my body.

Luckily I haven’t had sulfur burps (yet?) I get bad gerd already so I’m not looking forward to it

I’m trying to be patient. It’s difficult when you see the super responders losing lots of weight right away and you haven’t lost anything in six weeks.

It only happened for me when I jumped from 2.5 to 5. Since I decided to switch so smaller increments it hasn't happened again. I'm currently doing 5 every 4-5 days without too many issues.

Six weeks is nothing and you’re not even at a studied effective dose yet.

I know we are experimental by nature but I’d suggest following what’s been proven to work before venturing off.

Also losing quickly has it own set of issues and side effects. I get frustrated I’m “only” losing a one on average per week or so sometimes.

But I have no side effects like muscle loss, hair loss, fatigue.

And it’s almost 60 pounds now.

This isn’t a diet it’s a lifestyle change. I didn’t get fast in 6 months.

I’m on this med for life since it has so many these positive aspects. There’s no rush.

Have you tried Glp1plotter.com? I haven't used shotsy but I use the plotter to see what my levels should be at with different doses and schedules. I do better with smaller doses more often. Less nausea and fatigue.
Per the plotter, 15mg every 7 days yo-yos your levels from 10-21mg.
At 4mg every 5 days you go from 5-7mg depending on the day. Based on this plotter you could take as much as 10-12mg every 5 days and stay within the standard levels.

2.5 is not considered to be a therapeutic dose and I wouldn't suggest stacking until you've tried a therapeutic dose for at least 30 days.

I’m basically at 5mg a week.
