30-31g 8mm (5/16") Luer Lock or Luer Slip Needles only

The downsides are more dead space and the needle switching adds a step...
Replying to this as a +1 reiteration, as I missed it the first time around. The dead space that I am seeing with Luer Lock is 0.05mL, which is pretty significant, needs to be accounted for when drawing the initial dose before swapping needles, and reclaiming that post-injection isn't really possible because of contamination. Unless I am missing something in this process, Luer Locks seem like they come with inherent loss. Likely well-known stuff that I am just learning. But I will be sticking to backfilling 30g insulin syringes. Favorite other way to do it so far.
