3D printed Accessories

I’m new to ordering GLP-1 vials — I’ve been on Zepbound with the spring-loaded pen needles up until now. I have my first vial order on the way and I’m starting to realize there are probably a few extra tools or accessories I should pick up, but I want to make sure I’m on the right track before I go overboard shopping.


I’m planning to use a pen (likely the Savvio) since I like the idea of using the sharpest possible needle and keeping things small and tidy for my sharps bin.


A few questions:

• Cartridge stands — Are these actually helpful for reconstituting? Worth picking one up?
• Peptide vials (powder) — I plan to store these in the freezer. Do most people use a special container for this, or just pop them in as is? I was going to put them in a mason jar, layer with bubble wrap, and with silica packets.

Besides the Savvio pen, are there any other accessories or supplies you’d recommend picking up to make this process smoother?

You can pop them in the freezer, in the box. I bought 3D vial storage containers and put my peps in there, put the storage container in 2 (gallon size) zip lock bags, and then I pop them in the freezer. It's just an idea 💡.

People do all kinds of things. The 3-d containers, the food storage jars w/printed inserts, essential oil cases, and so forth. There really are some seriously cool things out there. I’ve had to force myself to not just grab more pretties and decide if I actually need it. So I have 2 essential oil zippered cases, a 3-D printed pen box for my frig (customized to hold my bird pens), boxes for bac water, lipo-c and lidocaine w/vial spikes on them and a box for 30- 30 ml bottles of bac water.

Oh- I have a cartridge stand. I use it more to purge air from pen cartridges (with a vent needle) than I do the stand. But it works well for that (I just don’t think of it until I’m finished, lol).

Now granted, I did buy a small Frig/freezer JUST for peps… and coffee stuff, since it’ll be in my office… I just need to rearrange my office.. and make my corner just for my pep stuff.. and coffee..

I've been making a few trays myself using my 3D printer. If anyone wants any .stl files just let me know. I have a bambu a1 mini at home so I have been slowing tweaking the files myself.
