Hi everyone, any Star Wars fans out there? With the new Mandalorian & Grogu film coming out, I thought I’d see if there are any fellow fans around.

I was born a bit after the original trilogy, but I’ve been collecting Star Wars action figures since 1995 and grew up with the Special Editions and Prequels. Despite their flaws, they have a special place in my heart.

Yeah a fan and have collected pretty much since 1977. Wish I had hoarded even more of the mint packaged stuff. 12 backs for retail to $30.

My oldest cousin is about 15 years older than me and he collected almost all of the original figures and vehicles, even some doubles so he could keep some mint on their cards.

Unfortunately, in the late 80s/early 90s someone broke into my cousin’s storage unit and stole his entire collection. He thinks the thief was someone who knew him well enough to know the collection was stored there - that, or someone who knew about the collection spoke about it in front of others, who then stole it. Police never tracked it down. I feel like that kind of thing is easier to do nowadays than it was at that time.

Saw The Mandalorian & Grogu this weekend. It was pretty much exactly what I thought it would be - a fun, low stakes adventure with the two titular characters. I appreciated that unlike a lot of Disney-era SW content there were lots of aliens and creatures included. That was one thing I didn’t appreciate about Andor, it mostly felt like it could be anywhere, and not Star Wars.

Big time fan of the original trilogy. The prequel trilogy was fine....NOT a fan of anything recent, other than enjoying Rogue 1
