With all the uncertainty of what governments may be doing with peptides I have a solution . A peptide collective could be created. Almost like a non profit . There would be a membership fee of $1000 per person to join. The money would then go to purchase , synthesize and maintain the staff and the synthesis machine used to create the various peptides desired by the collective. Membership would grant access to peptides at cost. Scientists would be on staff to work the lab. We would have our own testing equipment as well to assure safety standards are met. Since there is no “buying and selling” the government would have zero authority over us. It would be a private collective . In addition we could do our own research on side effects, outcomes both good or bad and we could even independently puplish our research to advance the science. Place the headquarters in the most neutral and friendly country. Maybe Costa Rica? Mexico? Dominican Republic? Turkey? Russia? This really could be the ultimate solution.

I can appreciate the idea but there is zero chance any government is going to be okay with this. Thinking that no buying/selling is going to somehow stop regulation is not correct. Plus the startup and ongoing cost for what you are suggesting is prohibitive.

I’m not so certain it would be cost prohibitive? A brand new volume synthesizer could run 60k. Additional supplies and ancillary equipment could run another 25k. Reagents could run a few thousands. I’m thinking you could have an up and running peptide synthesizer for bulk ( on the kilogram volume) for around 100k. That’s not what I would consider cost prohibitive? 100 people at $1000 would pay for it. Most people on this forum are spending over $1000 a year on gray.

The lab techs to run it , building lease, logistics, insurance, etc. Those costs are not trivial and are ongoing.

That's not touching how to deal with the legality. Locating outside the country brings its own headaches which we see right now. Locating in the US brings a whole other can of worms.

What if we just add a peptide to Reta and call it something else, then patent it. Then we let people use it for free. I mean we could add BPC-157 to Reta… there’s been minimal anecdotal reports of people reacting poorly to BPC-157. We could call it Ultimitide! Lmao
