I remember reading a discussion about a peptide or something else being sourced from china that can be used as an adderall alternative. Does anyone happen to know what that is?

But I’m completely clueless on preparing a spray 😣 though willing to learn if it’s the better way

Thanks all! I’m going to be taking weekends off of adderall, and would like to take something else to help get through the day.

Semax and modafinil were the two alternatives I’ve found. Can’t find modafinil, and it looks like the preferred way to take semax is IN, which I need to do some research on.

I’ll have to look, I remember that discussion as well and researched it. The only thing I remember from my research is that it’s sourced from pig brains and at that moment, I said to myself “I’m out”. 🤣 Let me see if I can find it.

Hey I tried messaging you on Discord. May be fastest
I don't understand, was that a reply to my question about source and consumption method?
For some reason, it’s now saying you won’t accept messages from me. I think Mercury in Retrograde is effecting this week of communication for me. Not sure what’s going on. I tried to write you back tho

Having weird communication issues. Not sure why I can’t reply to you. Tried to add you as a friend but it won’t let me.

Modafinil you can get through BG Pharma, they offer both Driada and pharma grade.

Pig brains?? is there any concern for prion diseases?

I've never used it but people in this space have been using it for a while. Actual cases seem exceedingly rare and in weird unknown cases or hunters who ate infected deer.

Hopefully if a pig showed signs of prion disease, they wouldn't extract brain peptides from said pig.

I have seen it and it is a horrible death. The person previously worked in a Texas slaughterhouse. When they say mad cow has never been in the US they fail to mention CJD which is what mad cow is called in humans. There are ~ 500 cases diagnosed in the US per year. It is always fatal. Prions are hard to destroy so if there was a prion infected pig brain used to make the medication it would be transmittable. I can't remember exactly what the temperature is to kill a prion (1000 degrees maybe) but I know normal sterilization of surgical instruments will not do it and you can't freeze them out. We sealed the room and had the CDC involved. This was in the early 2000 or late 1990's.

They have had multiple transmissions via brain surgery (sterilized normal) - now days, according to Mayo, if potential for prions the tools are destroyed.

Scary shit. I am a lifelong vegetarian but any thing made with brains scares me. You know that "chronic wasting syndrome" is the same thing. It is in elk and deer. I have a feeling no one knows about this because the risk of panic. How would a hunter know if the deer they killed and ate had the early stages of it. I am not sure if people eat elk. Initially they said not to eat the meat of animals you thought might have chronic wasting syndrome but if you had it wasn't transmittable to humans but the latest info from the CDC is not to eat the meat. "Michael Osterholm, Ph.D. is a world-renowned epidemiologist, said transmission to humans has not yet been confirmed, but research suggests it is increasingly likely— especially as the disease continues to spread among deer and elk."

I've taken modafinil (the generic Indian brands). It's fairly inexpensive and it does work but if you don't take it *really* early in the morning it can cause insomnia. I was trying to off set the fatigue from tirz and it did help me get through work without crashing. Also took it in college at times to help study w/ harder classes like anatomy but I only really noticed a positive difference with math homework. Took semax as a nasal spray once and it was really subtle and at times I hardly felt anything at all.

Tesofensine. This is not a peptide, but I have heard it being compared to Adderall. I use it and my husband uses it. Neither of us have used Adderall before, but I can tell you that both of us experience an enhanced ability to focus and concentrate on Teso.
It helps with my appetite suppression. I stack with Reta.

I cant tolerate modafinil effects, armodafinil feels much better, but yes you are right with insomnia, Im on sleep medications so no issues for me 😉
I’m with ya 💯 Armodafinil !! I’ve been using the same source for 4-5 years now and usually it breaks down to abt $.75 cents per 💊.
Pharma ADD ADHD meds these days are SO watered down, they certainly aren’t what they use to be years ago!
