I am going to order KLOW to add to my Tirz. I travel for work and wondering if anyone has traveled with pep syringes? I know if you’re diabetic you can bring them on the plane but also read you need a Drs note? That was on an airline sight but not sure that it’s accurate. Since it is a daily injection I’m trying to figure out how it would work. Would a pen be easier/better?

I traveled from the US to Europe this past summer with unmarked vials and syringes in one of those cheap Amazon insulin travel cases. Airport security didn't care. I just made sure to tell them I was traveling with injectable meds but they didn't seem too interested.

I was wondering if I needed to preload syringes or needed to get a pen so this is very helpful. Thank you

Used an Amazon metal thermos with the ice packs that come with them in my carry-on. Put syringe inside with the meds. Neither TSA nor Swiss security cared. That was last week.

There was a thread about this on another forum a month or two ago. Consensus was, TSA couldn't care less. Don't even mention it unless they ask about it, which they likely won't. If they do, tell them it's your insulin or Zepbound. So, domestic travel is not an issue at all.

HOWEVER, when traveling internationally, going through customs in certain countries could be an issue. Some places, like Japan, are very anti-injectables and may give you trouble. Most that have travelled internationally with their peps agree that you should only take enough for the trip so you don't have to come back through US customs with it.

I would advise against preloading syringes as they are not considered sterile for storage. I’ve flown domestically with both vials and pen cartridges. For short trips, I try to adjust my dosing schedule around my trip or delay the next dose until my return.

I'm travelling in europe in a month, i plan on having a insulin-case, I bought on Amazon, and my pens in it chilled, - I fill with different peptides. I do have a Mounjaro prescription on my name, I 'll have a print of that, but they probably wont bother.
Just say it's Mounjaro or insulin.
