50 female. I had some diarrhea on 2.5 and a little on 5 mg. Decided to go up to 7.5 mg and tolerated it ok. Went from 205 to 165 so far. I’m type 2 diabetic and Mounjaro is the only meds (also take Metformin) to get my A1C down to 5.4.
I had to skip a week due to a procedure and when I took it again a week later (Thursday morning) and became very became very sick Friday morning. Non stop diarrhea and I threw up like 5 times in a row (I rarely ever throw up). Ended up in the ER and they told me that it was because I skipped a week. My endo though said that probably wasn’t the cause. I had diarrhea and nausea on and off until the next Wednesday. I asked the dr to go down to 5 mg. Took it on Friday and was fine that whole day and sat. Sunday I was sick again (some diarrhea but not as much as before) but threw up a bunch of times in a row again. Like I was emptying out everything I ate the last few days. Also have very acidic burps. I did eat more than normal over Thanksgiving but I’ve have had days before when I ate too much and didn’t throw up. Why is this all of a sudden happening and what can I do?
