Anyone order from them? Read some reviews on reddit of them but don't see much if anything on here about them. Prices are okay but US base. Seem kind of new in the vendor section here so may be why there isn't much chatter. Thanks for the help.

I've ordered twice from AL and both times were accurate and fast. Be careful about the scammers posing as AL though - always verify the handle/username

I used AL for my Tirz30 and have reconstituted 2 vials. So far so good. I also used them because payment could be made with Venmo, they had a USA warehouse and reports were good for fast delivery. Even though the price was higher it was sure cheaper than the $500 a month I was paying for compound Tirz.

Batch numbers for all intents and purposes are pretty meaningless unless the vendor is relying on them as part of a guarantee for mass and purity.
I am curious about your statement. Did you mean batch numbers are meaningless and to always do independent testing or that even if group testing or individual testing is done it’s a crap shoot and determine your own level of risk. Thanks

It means what I said.

If a vendor guarantees that "Batch # 12345" will test a minimum (for example) of 99.0% purity and -5%/+10% of advertised mass, and tests (whether individual or group funded) come back at 98% purity and/or -8% mass, and they honor that guarantee with either refund or replacement, then the batch number might mean something. Otherwise it means that the roll of labels that were printed up with that batch number haven't run out yet.

Appreciate the clarification and education. Thank you

I've been looking at Amino Lair and I know companies have changed names in the past. Did it used to be Amino Fitness? I ask because on the COA for one of my interests, it has that company's name on it instead of Amino Lair. They're also using several different companies for testing, is that normal?

They are one in the same. I love them.

That's unfortunate to hear. Judging by what I'm seeing here, plus the fact that one of the COAs that Amino Lair has posted on their price sheet was ordered by "Amino Fitness", I'll probably go someplace else. Something just doesn't smell right....
The mix of names and the mix of testing companys also gave me pause.

@JujuJ above they're one in the same (sorry couldn't quote)
but I haven't been able to find anything else to that effect...I'd welcome the help, tho.

For me, at least right now, reviews, while typically mixed, are just too mixed to go forward but I'll try to keep my eyes open. I'm also quite new so maybe more gun-shy than some.

The order I received from AL had a return label of amino fitness. My vials of T30 so far are good.

I know this may come as a shock to some people, but it's really not unusual for a business to operate under a different name from whatever their legally registered corporate name with the state and IRS might be.

It doesn't mean anything nefarious is going on, just that for whatever reason their d/b/a name is different. Sometimes it may be only slightly different; like how Walmart is really Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. and other times there's zero similarity; like how Google is really Alphabet, Inc. or Facebook is really Meta Platforms, Inc.

Often it could be something as simple as what domain names are available. There have actually been a few peptide vendors whose domain names have been frozen or cancelled causing them to re-brand under a different DBA while keeping the same corporate name. It could also be an issue with being able to access various business and banking services. It's probably easier to deal with banks when your name is "Kenobi Scientific" instead of "Kenobi's Peptides". I can pretty much guarantee you that 90% or better of peptide sellers are not actually operating under their legal registered entity name.

Anyway, this is how the world works. If this is something that impacts your shopping choices, that seems a little excessive; I mean you could always just ASK whatever company you're dealing with what the reason is behind the name variation instead of speculating on the interweb.

Absolutely, and yes, the name on the check is rarely the name on the door. But, with all the things I'm reading, I didn't really think it's out-of-pocket to question it. Sorry if it was. The whole 'just ASK' could go toward anything, I suppose....
