Amo minimum spend for irish customer

Hi folks,

I placed an order on bfflist.org earlier today to Dublin ireland,

Got an email feom one of their team saying that, because alipay doesn't work in ireland i have to pay with WISE, and theres a minimum spend of 500 dollars to do so.

Seems a bit fishy, has anyone else had this?

I don't know, but it sounds at least greedy to me.

I'm not a big fan of SRY lately with the underfill issues, but I would be tempted to order from SRY's UK warehouse instead (though they have limited options regarding stock):

I ended up ordering from Nexaph to a parcel holding place in Northern Ireland as they dont deliver to the Republic of Ireland, I'll just have to drive across the border to collect.

Its being shipped from USA so hopefully it clears customs!

I probably should have done some research, i didn't know about SSA, do they have a website or are they telegram only?

The big Chinese suppliers are very good at getting parcels into the EU with customs pre-clearance. I've done 4 orders from China over the last year and not had an issue - they usually come in via Germany.

Have a look in the vendor section as mentioned above. I haven't used SRY yet but they'll probably be one of my next suppliers as their prices are getting super competitive and they've definitely got the scale (a lot of orders go through them...) where they've dealt with getting past EU customs. I'd be more worried about ordering from the US than China at this stage.
