Any tirz hoppers who successfully switched to reta and lost a ton of weight?

I've been on Mounjaro/tirzepatide for close to 10 months and I've managed to drop 60lbs but I've ran into a stall for the last few months so I'm hoping that switching to reta will change things.

However I'm concerned seeing as a still have another 100lbs to lose (I started on Mounjaro at 339.3lbs for reference).

Is there anyone here in a similar position to me who stalled on a high dose of tirz but managed switch to reta successfully and lose a ton of weight?

Hi, what dose are you on currently and how long have you been on a stall?

Don't be afraid to poke about the forum.

I'm not as far along as you in terms of time, I was up to 5mg/weekly of Tirz and have been moving to Reta fairly quickly, averaging ~1% of my starting weight lost per week.

Currently on 12.5mg, stalled for almost 2 months. Should hopefully start reta this week when my package from JEEP arrives.
To be fair I stalled on tirz a couple of times along the way, once was about 7 or 8 weeks.
These things do happen.
I just carried on and moved up a dose and eventually got to goal weight while on 15mg.

What's your titration schedule like? I have one 12.5mg pen left and I was thinking about doing 2mg for 2 weeks and then 4mg for 2 weeks along side my last pen and then see how things go with 6mg of reta by itself once the pen runs out.

I've heard that most who switch from high doses of Tirzepatide don't get good suppression until they're around the 8mg mark. Hopefully things will even out for me by then.

So i pin 7mg on fri morning and the 5 mg reta on monday morning. Since ive been doing both the weight has flown off, i havent needed to go up in dose for a bit.
Im literally taking the dose you are. But mixed with tirz and reta.

That sucks for you for the food noise. With my current dosing of each i am literally never hungry, so sorry that lower doese just arent working for you. Definitely dose at a something that works for you, cagri and reta is tossed about often to kill appetite too.

8mg of Reta is da bomb for me! Strongest appetite suppression i have felt so far.

Before Reta i was on 10mg of tirz, split dosing so 5mg each time. It was ok until anhedonia hit me.

Right now i'm stacking 2mg Cagri and 8mg Reta, Cagri on Monday, Reta on Thursday. It has been really good so far, losing 1-1.5kg per week steadily. Going to switch Cagri to Sema since it is cheaper and surprisingly Cagri isn't as strong as people claimed it to be for me.

On 1/10 I was around 4.9mg Tirz concentration level.

1/10 1mg Reta
1/11 1mg Reta
1/12 1mg Reta
1/14 2.5mg Tirz (normal 2x weekly dose, a day late), food noise abatement
1/15 2mg Reta
1/16 1mg Reta
1/17 1m Reta
1/18 1mg Reta

Current levels are 2.7mg Tirz, 5.3mg. Down from 272lb to 266-267lb. I've added 360mg of magnesium glycinate and reduced my supplemental fiber (PHGG) from 21g to 7mg. The only noteworthy and attributable side to the Reta is I'm more sensitive to the cold, which isn't objectionable at this point.

My heart rate variability has trended flat to slightly up over that period, resting heart rate is down 5bpm comparing 6 months prior to 1/10 to the time since then.

Riding the slopes right now, listening to appetite (currently flat) and food noise (also flat) any any meaningful sides. If nothing else, in ~51 hours I'll take another 3mg of Reta putting my peak at 5.8mg and my Tirz level will be around 2.1mg at that peak (modeling 24 hour absorption to peak). From there back to riding the slope to see what I observe.

What is your age, height, starting weight and current weight?

You should give it a try but don't get sucked into using all types of drugs. Just stick with the weekly dose of one weight loss peptide at first. I wouldn't be mixing and matching or micro dosing chasing something that doesn't exist.

I recently switched from tirzapatide to retatrutide cold turkey and it does seem to burn more fat and I have noticable increased energy

Hmmm might be something to look at, I've heard mixed opinions on stacking glp1's so I wanted to avoid being on it long term.

However the idea of stalling on reta because I'm on high doses of mounjaro does scare me which seems to be a common occurrence from the threads I've read.

It's literally either this works or I have to get weight loss surgery.

Don't be afraid of going higher than the standard dosage, there are ongoing high dosing trials, 8mg for Sema, 25mg for Tirz, i'm convinced glp1 is way safer than we thought. Weight loss surgery i assuming you meant gastric bypass, it is way way riskier, heard lots of horror stories around it and it should be your last resort imo.
