They used to when tariffs were bad, but that was then. My last shipment didn’t go to Dubai.

I buy in two categories from China. BOTH triangulate shipping using ME sites. I do have concerns, yes.

Interesting, I've seen all mine go to Japan and then Alaska then Memphis and then to AZ. I don't see how the vendor can dictate route once with the shipping carrier, unless they ship to UAE first and they forward it to you?

When my product leaves my seller in China (peps and other), I will get a notification and then no updates until it clears the triangulation point. At that point, I will see it traveling to me.

They don't dictate. They ship to the intermediary who forwards it on.

Since we are talking shipping. I am in the US and bought from China (I thought) right before CNY and just got the first tracking number out of Kissimmee FL a couple days ago.
Is that a depot? was it in FL all the time?

For Central Europe mine was re-labeled near an large Airport and then shipped to me with local DHL. How it got to Central Europe is the great mistery... I don´t think by ship, because it was too fast and also not by truck 🤣

This is the exact sequence of notifications I received when I placed my first order with a particular vendor. It's actually coming from CN. It will more than likely not have any movement for about 2-3 more weeks. I bet the forwarder is Slow Sheep if you look at the tracking in USPS.
