About three weeks ago now I added Reta to my weekly “weight loss” pinning routine. Was super excited with the obvious hype surrounding it. Given i’m fairly new to this world so I just bought off peptide sciences (paid $300 for a 16mg💔) to make sure it was legit stuff. Week one I took 1 mg of reta with my 10mg of tirz. Also to be stated i’ve been taking 10mg of tirz for almost 3 months now, it’s the best I can do with the amount I can get for now. But week one I noticed little to no change, did some research saw most people who had taken tirz said starting at 2mg reta a week is the best, so week 2 I take 2mg. During these weeks my physique had changed but the number on the scale wasn’t changing but maybe a pound that i would lose then gain back then lose again. Since then ive stayed at 2mg a week and my physique has definitely become leaner. But my appetite has been through the roof. I understand reta isn’t great for food noise which is something I struggle with. But has anyone had the experience of actually being hungrier then when not on reta? Thanks!

Reta is a bad appetite suppressant for many people, especially on the low doses.
this is a very common problem, coming from tirz, the king of appetite supp and foodnoise.
You need to go up in dose. You are only on 2 mg.
I came from Tirz 10 mg, and am now on Tirz 5 and Reta 5, still titrating down in tirz and up in Reta.
You could add cagri in a low dose, like 0,125 or 0,25 mg to curb appetite.
You should research and find a nice chinese vendor, you need better deals.
Many good options.
I bought from Jeep recently, great experience.

Question for clarification. On the second week did you take 10mg tirz along with 2mg reta or just 2mg of reta?

Heard about cagri recently, again newby. Have you tried cagri? And if so how’d it make you feel?

Yes i came from first sema, no luck, then tirz good effect, but made me depressed on higher doses, then reta, makes me super hungry and sugar craving went all the way up.
I added cagri 0,25 mg 4 weeks ago and it really helps me a lot.
Super effective, and I have no side effects.
Fatigue and GI stuff, can be side effects from cagri.

I’ll have to look into cagri, i’ve seen it’s a bit pricier then even retail now though so i’ll keep an eye out. Thanks for the advice!

I see the bigger appetite I have on retatrutide as a pro instead of a con. This is because my appetite was so highly suppressed on mounjaro I was under eating for a while. This caused my body to go into survival mode and made me keep the same weight even though I was on a calorie deficit (a deadly one). So whenever I come across this topic of “retatrutide has less appetite suppressing” it makes sense that reta will have less suppression because the drug is designed to help retain healthy and vital muscle mass (through being able to complete protein goals), and target fat specifically. When it comes to other GLP medications they lack in this department, and many people avoid them due to the risk of losing muscle. Muscle is necessary for every part of the human body if you lack it, the effects show physically through day to day activities.

Never thought about it like this. I have a horribly habit of watching the scale. My personal dilemma is I want to get to 200 pounds and i’ve been sitting at around 220 with reta. Wondering if I should hop off for a couple of months, do a higher dose of tirz (still lifting and trying to hit protein goals) and drop down to 200. Then hop on reta and micro dose tirz just so I don’t go crazy with eating.

Do you happen to have a doctor you could speak to about this? If so, I’d definitely try to trouble shoot it with them.

Otherwise, in my experience, I didn’t feel appetite suppression until 5mg, and even then, it wasn’t as strong as being on 5mg of tirz. Anything more than 5mg tirz, I couldn’t hit my protein goals. The Reta has helped me strike the right balance for me.
