Are NAD and NAD+ the same thing?

I have seen vendors list NAD or NAD+ and what I was able to find online about the difference is:
NAD+ is the “raw” form of NAD that simply acts as an electron carrier. It's like an empty shuttle bus without anything to transport.

So are the vendors labeling the same thing differently or are they selling different things?

Has anyone had a good experience with one or the other>?
