I hope this question is permitted. Since it's hard to get hydration at the moment, I was wondering if any of the vendors actually test their water?
I'm using Lambda for the time being but comparing to the ones offered by vendors it pretty attractive to go with vendors pricing.

Lambda's COA is a year old. Vendor COAs aren't worth anything anyway but one that out of date especially so. You can't trust vendor testing and COAs anyway so getting it tested yourself has to be worthwhile.

There is very little reason to take the risk of anything but Hospira or Genetek, because its $10-20 for 30ml of the fully tested and regulated product, which is only 2-4x the vendor water. That $15 is not enough to get it tested, you would need to be testing at least 20 bottles/grouptesters to make that economically pay off.

Start by testing the pH with a strip, and put a drop on your hand to smell it: if it smells like almonds, you're good.

If it's tap water, you'll find out soon enough: you'll get a fever. If you have any junkie friends, ask them what it feels like.

I know independents have had a bunch tested. There was a post list of a bunch the other day. I remember the pH being 5.7, the BA was good but I don't remember that number.
