Back pain after taking Tirzepatide

Anyone else get lower right side abdominal and back pain. I'm on the lowest dosage of Tirzepatide for about 2 months. Every other side affect also along with this 😭. Thinking of stopping all together.
 
Yes, that can happen. You lose about 20% muscle mass for every kilogram of fat you lose.

I assume you had low muscle mass in that area before. Start training those parts of your body as well

Have you got some literature to support that 20% number? Genuine question - as I've been doing heavy resistance training for a couple of years (from a starting position of being obese) and wondering what the trade offs are now I'm using Tirz for a major cut, with the aim of being properly lean + muscly.

(Which also brings into question what if anything I should be taking when I go for bulk/strength gains at some point again)

Edit: I should add that really I'm looking for literature on its affects for people who are still actively working out / trying to keep protein up etc. I've seen the headline muscle loss figures for GLP1s but not sure how much of that was averaging in incredibly inactive people.

My RS had similar symptoms at the beginning of tirz research, minus the back pain. It did go away after about a week and hasn't returned.
Does the pain start in front and wrap around to the back? Is it intermittent or constant? Be aware that the right lower quadrant is where the gallbladder is located. When in doubt, ask your provider/practitioner.

you can google it if you need more literature. there is also a study about it but couldn't find it fast.

It goes from front and wraps around back like mentioned, but not constant. More so when it's focused on Read on Reddit a few months back of others going threw same. RS is going to stop with Tirz for a few weeks.

Probably the smartest option. While off tirz, look into taking digestive enzymes. They help break down fats, and take some of the workload off of the GB. My RS takes this one
