I have been on compound tirzepatide for nine months. I was stuck at five pounds from my goal weight. I have lost 70 pounds and am only on 5mg. I didn't want to titrate up for the last few pounds. I tried 2000mg/day of berberine, and poof, I am just below goal weight in a week.

Huh, never heard of Berberine before. I've got a bit of reading to do!
It’s the active compound in turmeric, and is often mixed with black pepper and cinnamon. It’s been touted as nature’s ozempic (idk about that, studies are “promising but inconclusive,” but I like it nonetheless). I used it a lot the last time I lost weight, which was also my most successful pre-GLP drop (I was also diet/exercising). It has nice anti-inflammatory properties!

Berberine? “Nature’s Ozempic” is Olympic gymnastics level of stretching. Nature’s metformin maybe.

Dont they expressly tell you not to take that with glp1s?
Take what? Neither berberine or metformin are contraindicated with GLP-1s (plenty of diabetics take metformin and a GLP-1), though “too much good stuff” can potentially be an issue when people stack multiple glucose-lowering drugs and supplements.

Yeah read its on the same air as using stims or clen on reta because of the heart/rate risk.

berberine and glp1 can send you into dangerously low blood sugar levels aka hypoglycemia.

Reta can cause hypoglycemia on its own. It doesn’t need any help to pull that off.

It’s like a lot of other things… the dose makes the poison but also the victim makes the poison. A diabetic might need reta and metformin and empagliflozin to successfully manage their blood sugar. I’m pretty sure that combo would kill me. Lots of people all over the place in between.
