Best time of day to inject Reta

Personally I’d pin in the morning the first time. Wouldn’t want to pin at night, have a bad reaction and ruin a nights sleep. Also would suggest the weekend if you’re off work. Again, while unlikely, a bad reaction would suck if you had to work through it.

After the first one, it really doesn’t matter. Takes weeks to build up in your system.

Reta has less appetite suppression compared to the other GLPs. I personally have seen suppression peak 48+ hr later with both Triz and Reta and I like being able to eat out on weekends so I time my suppression valley and dose Friday night or Saturday morning so I can enjoy myself.

Peak blood levels are 24 to 48 hours after injection, which is a bit longer than some of the other GLP's. Given how long it takes , the levels should build up pretty slowly so it really should not make a lot of difference what time of day you inject it. Once you have had a few doses or even one you might be able to tell when effects become obvious and then you can try to time injections better if needed, but given the 1-2 days absorption time I am not sure there is any point in trying to guess beforehand. And if you cannot tell when effects start it does not matter anyway. It is only if side effects are an issue, and by then you should be able to work out how long it takes after an injection for them to be at their worst and time the injections to minimise disruptions to life if needed. Or if they are a major issue split dosing.
If you are concerned about affecting work ability and do not work on weekends , do the first dose friday afternoon after work.

Some would say when starting out , morning is good in case there is any safety concerns , such as batch labeling/ concentration inaccuracy, sketchy BAC water , of some kind of contamination . That is my approach, once I have a few pins under my belt from a cartridge, I'm more comfortable with evening /night pins

We do about 10 on Friday morning. @SITHRE My HR is normally around 72, but has been 76 on Reta. Sleeping it's an average of 63 BPM based on the new mattress we got on 2/26. I had no clue the mattress did that.

I usually pin at 11am every monday, had no issues when it was Tirzepatide and I was fine with Retatrutide this time around as well. It's like what others said I just avoid pinning at night because I don't was a disruption in my sleep. My friend still takes Wegovy and she uses it at night because it makes her nauseous, so she pins at night to sleep it off

I imagine for me Monday mornings at 0530 when I wake up will be best. Gives it a chance to het in my system, for me to hit the gym in the morning and then settle down during the day. I'm a very light sleeper, if a bird farts it wakes me up so anything to keep the heart rate down!

interesting how different people like to dose. I like to take it just before bed because I find it makes me sleepy, when I take during the day I want to lie down about an hour later. My cousin says if she pins after like 2pm she has a headache the next day, she likes a morning shot. I d say start with a day time to see how you feel but then play around with it to see when hits best for you.

I have taken mine before bed and I have taken it first thing in the morning. I have noticed no difference in side effects or any other factors.

Reta increases your resting heart rate. Personally I've noticed that if I take it too close to bed time that my heart is racing a bit and I have a hard time sleeping. No such issues when I take it earlier in the day!
I keep reading that Reta increases resting heart rate. I guess I'm lucky (or, at 1.5mg my dose is too low) because I didn't experience that effect whatsoever.

I swapped things out a little bit, working in a new cartridge I'm on 4mg , do something different I pined 2mg last night and then another 2mg this morning.

Appears to be a side benefit of less or no nausea spacing out same dose over two days.

I do the same when switching kit/source/mass. You never know when someone at the factory had a bad day, and if I'm getting feels on half a dose, something is up. Of course I typically use a vial/cart for 6-7 weeks so it's not a common occurance. (Note that Jeep is currently shipping both 30 & 60mg T orange cap).

Good to see someone in agreement, yes helps reduce the risk and with 34g pins , can't feel it anyhow.

If keep sending same orange vials , would be a simple mistake at factory , distribution or at home to mix them up . Risk reduction and fat reduction go hand in hand .

I'm around the same dose as you but I'm also very sensitive to meds / peptides. If there's a side effect, I'm sure to experience it 😆

I always pin in the morning. When I first started Reta, I made the mistake of making my first pin in the evening, and had a serious case of insomnia and got zero sleep that night.

i always pin at night and then by morning my stomach is adjusted to it and usually wake up to a BM and am good to go after that

So, when I started Tirz last year it was on a split dose, but my first was deliberately Friday morning because I felt like if it kicks in that day or over the weekend at least I have nothing happening. Over time--since I was splitting it--I was doing Friday AM, Sunday late afternoon, Tuesday before bed so that there was an even time gap between. What I've noticed in this last year plus is that it really kicks in about 24 hours later, and I do better sleeping if I take it late afternoon or evening vs in the AM, though getting the trots at bedtime is no fun either way lol

Since I will be stacking with a tiny dose of Reta, I think I am going to start the same way with that as I did with tirz, a Friday or Saturday morning and see how my body handles it.

Totally agree. Also would add one more thing. Some people are very sensitive, don't want to ruin you day or week. Make sure to do test pin, like 0.5mg or less. Then, wait at least a day or two. If all is good continue with your plan. I do this to all Peptides and new batches.

Just wanted to update that I’ve been pinning mid day and have been doing fine. It’s been a little over 2 months and down about 17 lbs. been going low and slow from .5 mg titrating up to 2.mg over 9-10 weeks. Really liking it. Next thing to look into is possible GB

I hadn't even thought about time of day pinning, and I'm about to start for the first time. Thanks for the information.

I do the wife and I around 10AM Fridays. As far as appetite suppression I thought the same. I always thought the MLB fro J5 R24 hit hard when we were doing it the end of March. Mixed two J5 MLB R50/3ml BAC 3 weeks ago, we've pinned twice at 8mg (4.3mg with the calculation conversions). This stuff has kicked my ass, killed my appetite, and I feel full all the time. The weight loss is crazy. Not sure what the difference is.

When I first started, I did it around 9am on Friday, and now I usually do whichever day I am pinning in the evening, usually I get the worst sides around 24 hours later so that way I am usually at home already nearing bedtime.
