Has anyone else noticed you tolerate hot and humid weather better when on GLP's??
I'm currently on Ozempic and in the past I used to hate hot and humid weather, but on Ozempic it doesnt bother me at all anymore.
It was 32 Celsius in Toronto yesterday. I went out for a jog and I felt great.
No issues with the heat whatsoever.

Has anyone else noticed this when you're on Sema, Tirz or Reta??

Yeah, but think it is related to the fact, I'm slimmer, not just the drug itself.

Absolutely! I was miserable trying to sleep last summer when my bedroom was 78ºF at night, pre-Tirz.

Now, I even use covers in similar temps. Agreeing with Ultima Thule this is probably more a factor of the weight loss than the peps themselves.

Counterpoint; I was e'ffing freezing in March when it was 62ºF in the office; was looking at heated vests but couldn't justify the cost as I was losing 10lb/mo and didn't even know what size to buy!

I used to love the daytime temp in the 60's, bedroom temps in the 50's... That's gonna cost me this winter.

Bama person suffering through 100+ temps right now, I noticed it takes a lot more for me to start sweating when working outside, but as others said, is that something the med has done or something the 40+ pounds I'm not carrying around anymore has done? 🤷‍♀️

It is true. Last year I was sweating in the shadow without doing anything with hot weather. Last week temperature has reached 41°C in Belgium and I barely felt it. Difference is from 102kg to 74kg, cholesterol from 195 to 161 and blood sugar from 98 to 77. I can tolerate it beter because of those changes thanks to GLP-1's

I noticed that too, I'm sweating a lot more, but thats fine so long as I'm not suffocating from the heat and humidity

I noticed I was much colder when the pounds came off in the beginning and sweat much less now as well.
Not sure what all impacted this, weight loss, more active, cleaner diet?

I am happy to not have to wring out my shirt in this Texas heat 🙂

My wife and I both think that. I actually raised the AC temp to 78* a while back. I drive neighbors crazy when I don't sweat doing yard work in the afternoon. Keep in mind, we've lived in Florida forever, so we're used to this crap. Still hot as hell.

I work outside in Mississippi, but mainly in air conditioned equipment for the last year or so. Last summer wasn’t bad, but so far this summer is better being 70lb lighter.

Allegedly a couple days ago the heat index was 110°F or 43°C.

In my house I’ve gone from sleeping at 68° to 72-74°, which was a nice outcome I hadn’t predicted.

I’d agree that it’s definitely noticeable but I’m not sure if it’s losing the weight or the pep itself. I’ve lived in AZ my whole life and this seems like this is one of the first summers I can remember that the heat hasn’t already been unbearable.

Sounds like it has more to do with body fat % than the GLP's. My hyperhidrosis is significantly better since losing so much weight. I use to literally feel the sweat drip down from my armpits the moment I entered a heated room. Going from freezing temp to a warm room was the worse 😭. As I lost weight without GLP's I noticed my symptom gradually get better. There's a heat wave in NYC and no sweating from a casual walk thankfully. Also, I noticed how much colder I be now at my current body weight than when I was the same weight 2 years ago. Certainly sounds like a body fat % or increase in lean muscle mass as the contributing factor.
