Hello, Im a 34 year old with chronic pain. 3 bulging discs, 3 pinched nerves in my neck and a pinched nerve in my lower back. I also have arthritis in my toes, knee and back. Plus a couple of other pleasant things going on. I started KPV last Monday and was wondering if it was worth it to get a couple vials of BPC-157 to go along with it. I know it comes in KLOW and the wolverine blend but as a standalone (or with my KPV) is it worth?

Nobody knows for sure. There are zero human studies with KPV. Weak human evidence with BPC. The GLPs are worth billions and are anti-inflammatory, so upping/maintaining the dose on those is arguably the most important thing.

Personally, I am a fan of Dr. Lee. So yes, get some BPC. It's worth a shot and relatively inexpensive. Even with pets, BPC is the most recommended peptide. I now have three dogs on BPC capsules (since easier than the shots for them). It's just been a few days, so all I know is that it is well tolerated.

BPC is extremely well tolerated in animal studies. There is no known toxic level of it.

A somewhat related thread:

Advil works much better than both of them. They are no magical cure to any serious injury.

NSAIDs are rarely recommended as a long-term solution. But one can also be prescribed gabapentin and duloxetine along with an NSAID like meloxicam or higher-dose naproxen. Pain specialists offer opiods, epidural injections, nerve ablation, nerve stimulation, etc.

I’ve stayed away from bpc due to a hepatic hemangioma that I have. Not that I’m worried about this peptide somehow making it malignant, I don’t really want to make it larger… and taking a drug that is supposed to induce new vascular systems seems like a poor idea.

On the other hand, there are tons of people running around with hemangiomas that don’t know about them, and there is a pretty high chance there are a good number of these people here that are taking bpc without knowing. So, meh?

All that said, I will be trying kpv, mostly for the digestive system benefits. I know the oral version should be better for this, but… I’m not convinced.
