I’ve been curious about doing a preventative brain program/ research protocol for brain health, TBI, ALz / dementia applications. I would love any input into my stack suggestions. My thoughts initially are as follows:

*1-2x/year do a 10 day course of cerebrolysin at 60mg/day IM for 10 days. Hold all brain enhancers for the 10 day course and 1 week after. Start first day or two at 30 mg to test for tolerability. ( Not for pork averse individuals as the peptide is derived from pig brains)

* Pinealon 200-500 mcg SQ for 8 weeks with or without PE 22-28

* PE 22-28 200-500mcg SQ for 8 weeks with or without Pinealon

* Semax/Selank nasal application 1-2x/day

* Dihexa …dosage unknown ??? Sources unknown??? More research is needed but potentially doing a 3 day/ week protocol for 10 -30 days 2-3x/year

* And of course if you have weight to loose or metabolic syndrome a micro dose of a GLP of your choice weekly to 3 times per week

* Red light therapy hat or suitable brain photobiomodularion device 20-30 mins/day

*Daily sauna with red light therapy adjuncts

* Curcumabsorb /curcumin supplement daily

* CoQ10 daily

* Low carb, high omega 3 fatty acid diet with goal of ketosis often

* Daily MVI

* No Alcohol!

* Microdose nicotine if desired

* Melatonin nightly or belsorma if a RX is needed for sleep

* Daily exercise

* Daily reading

* Daily prayer and meditation

We shall officially call this the JellyBelly Brain protocol (JBBP)

I would certainly appreciate any critiques or feedback.

Wow, that is a lot of stuff to track! I get the impression there are quite a few of us interested in protecting / enhancing brain function, so this should be a good discussion.

You might be interested in location used for Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation TMS. It is typically applied for treatment resistant MDD, but with links emerging between depression and Alzheimer’s (both are dopamine “problems”) it might be worth a look.

It’s pretty location specific so a panel might work just as well if you already have one.

There are also specific distances and durations for red light therapy, more isn’t necessarily better. Sunlight is a radiation that has a useful limit or you get sunburned, IR isn’t too different. I’ve found that I just feel run down and sluggish if I’ve gone too long that day. In other words 20-30 min daily could be too much. I don’t have my references here at work but my previous experience was lower frequency (days per week) and duration iirc.

Yes you are absolutely right on going too long on the photo bio modulation. The photons are donated to the electron transport chain at the various places (don’t know exactly where off the top of my head) in the mitochondria. There are only so many “spots” to accept the photons to activate the energy cycle . Over stimulation doesn’t seem to be harmful in so much as it isn’t helpful. Does that make sense? There is a really nice YouTube channel with a bunch of neuroscientist and neurologist that go very deep into PBM.

I agree, 100% with the TMS treatments. I think there are lots of opportunities there to develop new brain pathways to bypass damaged areas with the use of TMS. Coupled with some of the peptides such as PE 22–28, dihexa and Pinealon I could see someone making remarkable recoveries. People don’t ever have to take ALZ laying down anymore. Dale Bredeson is an amazing resource and I stole a lot of of his ideas on my protocol. ( If you think my protocol is confusing, you should see his! Very extensive brain protocols for Alzheimer’s.) I don’t know if he has included any peptides or any TMS yet but I would imagine it is on the horizon. I do know that he Has been suggesting photo bio modulation for a while now.

You might want to research the MIND Diet.
