I'm starting Semaglutide via injection tonight. It's on a trial period, and I can't afford it beyond the first month so I need to figure out a new plan over the next few weeks. I'm not super overweight but perimenopause has my belly hanging on to fat no matter how much I exercise and cut calories. So I'm turning to the experts!

1) I'm seeing a lot of recommendations on my social media feed for pill versions of GLP-1. Do pills offer the same results?
2) Is it safe to try other options (specifically Tirz as I see a lot of people talking about that on here) available through Nex or should I be going to a doctor first?

Thanks all!

1) NO!!!!!!!!!!!! :) Don't waste your time and money with the pill forms of GLP-1s.

2) My local internist put me on tirz without any reservations, and both he and my pharmacist recommend it over sema since tirz is more effective.

My only regret is not starting earlier with a GLP-1 (since the stories in the media about potentially deadly side effects got to me). My doc said such harmful side effects are extremely rare. (And in most cases are more due to pre-existing issues like diabetes.)

Thank you! Yes the media scared me off for a long time but I feel like I've been trying so hard and I'm only gaining weight.

Where do you get Tirz? Is that provided through your doc and insurance or is there somewhere online you trust?

Keep reading and researching, it will all become clear to you. So much of what you will learn will guide you to your next step and what level of risk you’re comfortable with.

So far, I am still using tirz from compounding pharmacies. (A 60 mg vial from my local independent pharmacist was not cheap at $550. Then I got three times as much from Brello Health for $499.)

But I have bought other (non-GLP) peptides like BPC-157 and TB-500 for recovery from SRY (US warehouse) and Nexaph (a domestic vendor, as you know already). I also like what I read about the vendor PGB, and they also ship from the US. The only constraint with PGB is they require crypto.

Except for my orders for prescription meds like tretinoin (retinol cream), I avoid international shipping since there is always the risk of seizure.

I just received a kit of 10mg (100mg TL) Semaglutide for $82 shipped that tested well with Janoshik.

That's 200 weeks at .5mg or 50 weeks at maximum (Ozempic) dose of 2mg. So at minimum .41¢/wk, max $1.64/wk. Tirz runs $1.25 (2.5mg) to $7.50/wk (15mg max Mounjaro dose) so basically a Happy Meal or a Combo Meal... Regular coffee or Soy Latte... 🤷🏻‍♂️

Was that a prebuy?

Regarding tirz domestic pricing for a 15 mg kit:

SRY (US Warehouse): 120usd free shipping

PGB wants $155 + $40 shipping for their 15 mg kit. (Shipping is $40 for orders below $200. Otherwise, $20 for shipping, or free shipping if $300+.)

Nexaph charges $175 + shipping, but it is sold out again (except for 60 mg).

[Nexaph update: "Tirzepatide 15mg scheduled restock 4/17"]

For the minimum dose of tirz (2.5 mg / week), a 15 mg kit would last 60 weeks (150 mg / 2.5 mg = 60 doses). At my current dose (10 mg), a 15 mg kit would last 15 weeks.

If you're asking me the Sema was a pre-buy but not at hard to find pricing.

All the deals you list are good. You could avoid PGB's shipping charge by using one of their trusted reshippers (they're listed under US Combine/Split). The PGB is tested... The SRY might get tested and if it does might be the batch you receive.

I've got all three you've listed in my stash so I wouldn't dissuade you from any of them. If you have Amazon expectations PGB and Nexaph are good options.
