Bulk freezer storage

To those have dozens of kits of varying peptides, how do you store them in your freezer? Do you use freezer bags, tupperware, manufactured kit cases? I like organization and would like to store my peptides as tidy and accessible as possible.

A cooler with thermal mass added. I have a few hydro peaks, they can go in the cooler also.

Hydropeaks stopped being practical with the quantity… I’m looking for a stainless thermos style box that can fit the plastic cases kits ship in. Long term storage could have them in a vacuum bag.

You take them out of their respective packing and put the single vials in case? How do you keep track of what's what? Are the vials safe from freezer burn or moisture in it?

Can you upload a photo of the cooler?

I bought the Hydropeak and insert. I soon realized that this was entry level storage.

Temporarily, I am using this airtight harbor freight pelican box that can hold 16 kits.

Think Yeti, RTIC, Pelican, etc. If the goal is less temp variation, a cooler that holds ice for a while will do great.
 
I have been storing mine in the original packaging in one of the deep freezes we use for our steers because it stays full and isn't accessed very often. You guys are really teaching me something here. I don't have a huge stockpile yet, but I do have three years' worth, and I don't want it to degrade out of ignorance. Thanks for sharing.

Freeze is typically the rule. But a few are a bit different. One of mine I store at room temp and one in the fridge (yes, both in powder form). So there are some exceptions to the general rule.
 
Hydrapeak with 3d printed inserts 62 per hydrapeak. And I label each vile only have 2 and only need 2 for now. Tirz, Klow, Motsc

I do. No worries of freezer burn and I've never seen moisture. I do throw a few desiccant packs in each.
 
I have a 3D printer, but I have no desire to take kits out of their plastic shipping container to put them in bulk in a 3d printed box for storage. It seems less sturdy, and a single point failure is considerably more catastrophic scattering hundreds of loose vials hither and yon.

I've been looking around on Amazon this afternoon for ideas for the 40+ kits I have on hand/on the way to add to the freezer. So far the idea I like best is something like this, stainless trays with plastic lids and a vacuum port. Put the kits single layer in the trays, can see what's in the tray without breaking the seal. Trays go in the cooler in the freezer and hey presto, durable bulk storage made fairly easy.

I really like the hydapeak-style airtight thermoses (mine aren't hydropeak, but similar). Vials go in straight up and down in two layers of fifteen vials. I like to do three kits of the same thing per thermos when I can, so I can label the outside, inside, tuck a folded COA on top, pack with a few dessicant packs, and go about my business. If I have more than one type, then I don't store more than one of the same-colored lid in one thermos, include the coa's for everything that's in there, label the outside and the inside with what they are and what color the caps are, and bob's your uncle.
 
Would this be a good moment to step in and voice a counter-point?

In my opinion, storing more than 2 yrs of peptides will find ones' self likely to be left holding outdated relics of peptides past, while the rest of the industry has moved on to GLP-12 and air-freshener dosing:

Your air freshener hanging on your rear view mirror micro-doses you as you drive to work each morning-(coming circa 2030).

No offense. I'll take Peter Magic's from Janoshik view about decades more serious.
 
If you have a chest freezer, I'll throw out a plug for Cooler Shock brand ice packs (can find them on Amazon). If their claims are to be believed, they freeze at 18F rather than 32F. That means if the power goes out that instead of quickly heating up to 32F and then maintaining that temperature until the ice completely melts, it will only heat up to 18F and stay at that temperature during melting instead. If you're keeping food in the same freezer that should keep your food from partially melting while the power is out (which is what would happen if it was just straight ice in the freezer).

I too am a big fan of Janoshik, watched hours of interviews with him.

I think you missed my point.

Imagine you need to lose 30% of your body weight. So you load up on 10 yrs worth of Wegovy when it first comes out, back in 2020 or so. There's nothing better! This stuff is magic!

Wegovy was great, when it was the only available protocol. But you would have been much better served with switching to Tirz or Reta; however, those weren't available back then.

Now extrapolate that forward. You don't think there's going to be further, significant advances in this field, in the next 2-5 years? There's advances month by month these days!

Load up on 10 yrs worth of Tirz if you like, but don't be surprised if it becomes a distant second to some newer, better protocol that comes along before you know it.

I'm not worried about that. I worry that I won't be able to get the stuff, I don't loose sleep worry, but the big drug companies like Lilly have power to mess with crap.

Understood. I worry about access too.

But then why did you bring up Janoshik and "decades" instead?
 
I label each kit's box with the name and dose, keep them in an insulated lunch bag with an ice block and silica gel packs. I don't usually get power outages but if I did, wouldn't have to worry about them for a couple of hours.
