Can Drs get Reta

I was tempted to get a prescription just to show it to my PCP. We talk about the future of glp1 and other diabetes treatments. She was excited about Reta getting approved as she lost 100+ lbs on Tirzepatide before she had to stop because of pregnancy. She actually recommends compounding to her patients who’s insurance dropped monjourno coverage

I’ve been getting Reta from my Dr for the past 2 months. Not part of any clinical trials. And when I asked about where they were getting it, she said there is compounding in US that’s available for Dr. Anyone heard of this???
Retatrutide is not FDA approved and the vast majority of doctors (real MDs) would not provide access to it.

I wouldn't spend five minutes talking to a doctor like that for the same reason I don't buy from vendors who have public fights with customers. I don't trust ANYBODY with this kind of thing who is displaying terrible judgement. And spending that amount of time in medical school and doing all of the work to get licensed only to turn around and openly hawk grey to patients at a ridiculous markup while claiming that's not what you're doing IS a mark of terrible judgement. What ELSE is that doc being unbelievably stupid about?
