Question for my fellow Canadians. I’m NOT asking for sources. More about your shipping experiences. I’m on the west coast, and I know Canadians are a small minority on here. I haven’t been able to find much on people’s shipping experiences. But I’ve read from people on Reddit that shipping here can be tricky. Particularly anything coming through Vancouver customs. Apparently there’s been a crack down there? I’m not sure how much truth there is to that.

So my question is, if you’re anywhere in Canada, particularly in BC though, how has your shipping from China or US warehouses been? Reliable? Hard? Expensive if it’s coming from the US? How recent was your last experience?

I’m almost thinking of biting the bullet and ordering from a local reseller even though I’ll get 2/10 as much for what I could order from an overseas vendor.

Before I went proper grey, I ordered from a costly US lab, and had no issues with it coming from the US.

I notice a few of the vendors here have Canadian warehouses though. So, I'm currently researching them now. Join my search. That little search bar up top is glorious! 😁

I’m in BC and I placed an order with a vendor on Jan 6th, close to midnight is almost the 7th, got the tracking on the 9th and received my order this past Friday on Jan 23rd.

They said it was supposed to ship via FedEx but I got a Canada post tracking # which didn’t update for about two weeks?

A lot of people on the tg group for that vendor that placed orders early Jan got seized when it came through Vancouver customs tho. Not sure why but mine arrived in Mississauga, went through customs there and then was on route to Vancouver after.

Submitted another order already and will see if they actually ship FedEx this time.

Yeah I’ve read from a few people over on Reddit recently their shipments this month got confiscated in Vancouver. So you probably lucked out that your first order went a different route. Prob had to come from a different warehouse.

Well I’ll keep you posted. Same province so we’ll prob have similar experiences in the future.

I am in Quebec and have ordered peptides from the US and from China. As far as I know, my packages did not transit through BC, though.

My order from the US took forever to arrive because Customs intercepted the package. Well, actually, the problem was that the shipping company (UPS) did not relay the requests from Customs to me, and did not respond to my questions for a long time. My package was eventually released, but it took over 5 weeks for me to get the package, with lots of back and forth with UPS and with the seller. Not a good experience.

My two orders from China went much smoother (and were much cheaper). My tracking numbers never worked, but I received my orders within 2 weeks of ordering, without any hiccups with Customs.

Yeah I’ve had other stuff shipping fro my he US that got delayed for weeks. I rarely have a good experience ordering from there if it’s coming by ground mail.

Thanks for the info though. More info is good to have.

Hope my next order comes through smoothly!

The vendor I’m using will reship if it’s seized though, so you could ask around for that guarantee

Yeah most good vendors offer that. But I’m more concerned about multiple orders getting caught up and then I’m a month or more behind on my schedule. I’ll prob just grab a couple viles from the Canadian vendor till one of the Canadian warehouses restocks. It’ll cost more in the long run but less headache.

i understand that, i am not a patient man as well haha. I'm currently waiting for my bac water from https://www.midwiferysupplies.ca/ but I already have my reta. I don't know if I have the patience to wait another few weeks. Might just order the lambda water brand one on amazon.

I just go to the pharmacy for bac water. It’s cheaper usually anyway. Same with my needles and alcahol swabs.

I'm on the west coast too. I have placed over a dozen orders over the last two years and only had one held by customs. On average, my order took 3-4 weeks.

I contacted a few but they always said they don’t sell it!
Yeah I had to call around. Was recently told it’s on a alocation so if stores don’t specifically order it they don’t have it. Luckily there’s a pharmacy supply store near me that carries it. My buddy on the coast gets it from London drugs or shoppers.

Interesting, every shoppers or LD I tried shut me down, I’ll try some independent pharmacies tmr

I ordered on Jan 8 from Saskatchewan. I haven't received the parcel and the vendor has disappeared from the site. They showed me pics and a tracking stub which works on 17TRACK.net but that site is sketchy as well.

Check it out:

you can see the 14th it was presented to 'Canada Border for customs review', then again 'CA, Customs check' appears two weeks later, on the only day I checked.

Anyhow, I mailed the vendor, but I don't think they are going to respond given that I read some nasties on the site concerning them, but you never know.

This isn't consistent as I've ordered a couple times from other vendors without a problem.

It's not to say that the package won't arrive, but it's just been sketchy.

I would recommend you pay the extra $ for FedEx or similar.

That sucks. Sorry to hear that.

I’m sorry to hear that. That sucks. Sounds sketchy as hell.

But I’m more asking about shipping from China to here. The vendor I’m looking at has a Canadian warehouse but it’s out of stock and their vendor said it prob won’t be getting anymore here for a while so if I want to order I should order from the Chinese warehouse. I’m more concerned about customs on the border. I don’t know why yours was hitting customs at all if it came from within Canada. Doesn’t sound right. That’s the whole point of ordering from within the country.

no it came from China. That's what I'm saying... customs ? idk.
Just kinda sucks cuz idk now if i should reorder from another vendor with better custom hits?

17Track is a valid site. It gives delivery information from the Chinese perspective. It's always been accurate for me and a lot of vendors use it.
that's good to know, but the shipper updates the information. I emailed the seller yesterday, then I learned about 17track from reading over here and yes, there's info, but its just odd that it was updated just yesterday. I understand though that the site itself is not fraudulent; it's the shipper or vendor that allow room for abuse.

To be clear, I'm not blaming anyone or anything at the moment. I am just reiterating my experience with customs and delivery to Canada in the last month.

That doesn't make sense to me. After the 3rd party shipper picks up the package from the seller, how do they know where the hell it is? According to 17TRACK, it's the carriers themselves that update the location information and this is posted on their website:

"17TRACK automatically gets the latest tracking info from the carriers every 6-12 hours".

So if the package is now in Customs they are either going to pass it off to Canada Post, or who ever the vendor uses, or they're going to keep it and send you a nasty note via snail mail.

I’ll be ordering in the next day or two as soon as one of the two vendors gets back to me. Their responses are real sparse. So fingers crossed my order actually shows up.

I finally received word from the vendor. Says that in the last couple months, that customs has been stricter and more parcels are being intercepted. I asked when they plan to re-send my parcel and I was told to contact them in late Feb.
So there you have it. I have a No Source Discussion thingy, so I will respect that until I progress.

Read my response. This wasn't a $10 order.

Late feb is when their new year holidays are over, its the risk we all take so its a matter of being patient and trusting the process.

but oddly I can do business with others who have no qualms sending me peptides during this holidays. I am a patient person, I am just relating what has been happening, and answering the OP's query. In Canada, there has been an increase in seizures at the border.
There are some vendors with Canadian warehouses; this might be a better route at this time.

After discussing with the vendor, she agreed to resend the package. She provided a valid tracking number and wished me good luck to get it thru customs. So, fingers crossed. It is not that I was dealing with a fraudulent vendor, which instead has been very honest and polite with me, but that Canadian customs has kicked it up a notch. Good luck as well @Myfathersbastard.
