Cant post at all

Not sure why, but I cant post anywhere in this forum, but here.
Is there something I need to do to open my abilities?

Check out the sticky thread in this section of the forum by an admin. It has info that would explain it. Basically be active and follow the rules and you'll get more access.

I see this: If you can't post anywhere but the Introduce Yourself section, it's by design or for a reason such as trying to ask questions or post info instead of introducing yourself and getting to know other members. If you make a post asking "Why can't I post anywhere else?" you're going to spend even more time with posting restrictions.

But there is nothing saying how long i will be restricted, and it would appear now I will be restricted longer. I have been a member over a month, thought I would be able to post something by now. A bit frustrating. Curious what is the secret sauce to gain admittance.

I had the same issue when I joined. I actually was here for a month and couldn't even introduce myself. I followed all the rules and guidelines. Not sure why I couldn't introduce myself but I kept seeing newer people join and post. It was frustrating.

You have to read the "read before posting" post and interact with the forum for a period of time to prove trust then your abilities to post are expanded

If you look above you will clearly see I have the "read before posting" post. I actually quoted a piece of that post that in this thread. Also you say you have to interact with to be able to post, but how can you interact if you cant post anything?

You can write a meaningful introduction post; not a perfunctory, pro forma one.

You can use the reactions for other users' comments when you find something helpful, insightful, or just informative or likeable.

You can use the search function A LOT as you find more things that you want to learn about on a deeper level.

You can browse all the subforums that you have access to, clicking and reading within them.

I wasn't being snarky. My understanding is new members have things to read before they are able to post or comment on anything non introductory. 🤷‍♂️
