Folks, I know many people who source GLPs from local spas or online pharmacies in the US. I source my tirz from Chinese suppliers. I was wondering what the difference is between them? I've heard pharma grade (brand names) glps are in a special carrier solution that slows down absorption (to extend action over 7 days). Chinese vials don't have the same half-life and break down faster in the body, so you need more frequent injections. This also makes it less effective than pharma or compounded versions of the meds. Can someone familiar with this topic chime in confirm if this is true? Thanks

This is 100% NOT TRUE.

It is just about as not true as not true can get.

I am glad you asked the question but horrified that you were exposed to such misinformation.

I look forward to the replies to your question. And I know not one of them will confirm the truth of what you have read.

Please keep coming back and familiarizing yourself with the facts -- and run far away from wherever you came across such a falsehood.

Have you personally tried a brand name to see if there is any difference?

There is absolutely no special carrier solution in the GLP1 products, They are the identical chemical make up, the actual drug which in this case dictates half-life.

There are other completely unrelated drugs which the carrier, salt or vehicle (ex. Oil) do make a difference. In this case a tiny bit of knowledge and likely desire to mislead are taken too far.

Wherever you're hearing this information is an absurdly unreliable "source". Delete it/them/whatever from your life. Sounds like AI bullshit.

A molecular structure is a molecular structure regardless of what country in was born in.

Those "carrier solutions" are things like water, isotonic agents, buffers, preservatives, etc. that are all part of the exact same formula before the child labor in China lyophilizes it.

Oh, and every spa or online pharmacy selling any GLP-1 that is not manufactured by Eli Lilly or Novo Nordisk is buying it from --- surprise! --- China.

Nope. I would say that the biggest difference (other than the price) is the accuracy of the dosage. Am I taking 1mg every week or am I taking 0.95mg? I don't really know and to be honest I don't really care. All that matters to me is that its doing the job.

I've used brand, compound, and grey. Without GLP's, my blood sugar was in the 300-400 range. With GLP's, I am 90-110 every day of the week, regardless of whether it was grey, compound, or brand.

On day 1-5 I am at 90, on day 6-7 I am at 110. If I split dosing to 2x per week, I am at 90-100.

I also found no difference in survo. Survo worked as well as tirz.

If you really want to know if the tirz works, ask a diabetic. I am hooked up to a continuous glucose monitoring device that sends my my glucose reading every 5 minutes. I'm not relying on how I feel, or how hungry I am, or whether I lost any weight or not. The numbers on the monitor tell the story.

The only real molecular difference is that lypholized GLP's are usually the salt form (eg. tirzepatide sodium or tirzepatide acetate), and EL uses the raw API. Considering EL uses NaCl in the formula for Zepbound, I can't see how extra sodium ions in solution would alter effectiveness.
