Cold injections?

Just wondering: when you inject the first dose after reconstituting your peptides, it's obviously at room temperature.


For next injections, the vial has been sitting in the fridge at 2–8°C. Do you inject it immediately, or do you let it 'warm up' to room temperature first?


Are there any benefits to either method?

Personally, when I take it out of the fridge, I let it come to room temperature first. I think it varies from peptid to peptide with RETA, for example, it doesn’t matter, but with GHK CU, I’ve read a lot that it’s important for it not to be cold, otherwise it stings.

I've been using Rx injections for a very long time, gave up letting it warm up a long time ago. Over time I found places that hurt more than others and some places that I don't even feel it. GHK-CU huts me and bruises no matter what. Switched to KLOW recently, so far no issues.

I used to let the syringe warm up, but now that I use pens, I feel like the temperature changes might affect the rest of the cartridge, so I use it cold. Don't notice any difference.

I get my tirz from the fridge and stab my leg straight away. Haven't had any problems.

I inject it straight from the fridge and never had an issue.

I do them all cold. Pinning GHK-CU cold or warm doesn't make a difference for me. I even reconstituted 100mg of it with an entire bottle of Hospira and it still stings. The only thing that helps is injecting somewhere fleshy without a lot of nerves like my ass.

Temperature shifts (Δ T) are not good for your peptides once reconstituted.
And going from 2–8°C to 15-20°C is quite the shift.
I would not do that personally.

For zesty peptides I'd recommend using some more BAC to ease the sting.
(or just man up and embrace the pain 😉)

By the time you fill the syringes, it's warmed up. No rules either way.

Not pain, just discomfort after the jab. The "warm" injection already felt like I could feel it spreading through my belly, but the "colder" one (even though I'd left it at room temp for a bit) felt like an ice cube was melting inside me. 🤣
