Hey guys, currently I'm at week 3 of Retatrutide, 1.5mg per week and I feel great. I have good energy while being on my cut and food noise is way more bearable then before (my foodcravings are usually unstoppable). I heard about people combining Tirz with Cagri, my first Pep is Reta and I wanted to think about the idea of combining it with Reta, so my questions come in:

What benefits does adding Cagrilintide to Retatrutide give compared to Retatrutide alone?

When does it actually make sense to add Cagrilintide to a Retatrutide cycle?

What side effects are common when combining Retatrutide and Cagrilintide?

Appreciate all your help!!

Adding cagri can be a way to avoid escalating side effects of reta (such as glucagon-based side effects like insomnia). Or you are getting closer to the maximum dose of reta with diminishing returns. Cagri is usually started at 250 or 300 mcg.

Sounds like good synergie for sure, thanks for the answer!

Of course, if you don't get side effects from reta, you would only consider adding cagri if you're REALLY struggling with appetite at 8mg or so and don't want to go higher on the reta.

1.5mg of reta isn't even a starter dose, it will take 3-4 weeks before you even get good appetite suppression on that dose, and if you're like me dosing once weekly will leave you very hungry on day 5.

Most people seem to say that the glucagon activation doesn't even happen until you get to 6-8mg doses.

Very interesting honestly, currently I'm going every 5 days

Good choice! If I didn't rely on the appetite suppression so much I'd be doing every 5 days as well. Currently doing 2mg every 3 days, so 4.66mg per week. Up from 2.33mg per week for the first four weeks.

Probably down about 20lbs. I think this is week 7? 6.99mg is going to kick my ass lmao, I might stay here for a few extra weeks since I've pulled a 1,200 calorie deficit average every day this week lmao.

Wow damn, good shit with 20lbs down! A 1.200 calorie deficit is very high, dont try to burn yourself losing too much muscles

Thanks bro!

And fuck it. I don't have the patience for anything else. I'm a 27 year old dude, so I'll get the muscles back when I get access to a gym and start playing with hormones. In the meantime I just want the fucking weight gone ya know?

Man be real careful. Lose too much muscle and you end up looking like a scaled down version of yourself and still fat. And lose too much muscle and now your maint calories are what you used to cut on.

You could still get in a decent workout in with calisthenics to help maintain muscle. Doing squats with a backpack full of books, etc.

Yeah man I know it. The thought is a little scary.

I just fucking hate, hate, hate body weight workouts. Pushups are the fucking worst. Planks are lame. Squats feel retarded. I love running. Sprinting too. And I love a lot of machines and weights in the gym but I just don't have access.
