Company selling "grey" instead of compound on Reddit. $60 for a vial of 10mg or 3 10mg vials for $140.

503As are regulated by state boards which have varying levels of oversight and frequency in inspection. When I was going on compounded tirz originally I looked at the records for the options my doc would send my prescription to and it all looked fairly bleak as to the level of quality control and accountability.

This. And if the pharmacy is based on Florida, good luck with any sort of quality control or compliance with USP guidelines.

Can we buy belle delphene's bathtub tirz? Asking for a friend.
You just use the bathtub water instead of the BAC.

The primary additional side-effect is the food noise is replaced with simp noise, and you find your bank account quickly draining in the direction of OnlyFans and Twitch subs.

“Raw” peptides like tirzepatide are a near pure API and are Lyophilized Compounding pharmacies buy bulk raw API peptides from China. For example southend in Texas uses this company see COA pic from their website …FDA registered …. huge company, partly owned by a German company… The rep only sells to licensed pharmacies in the United States.

I have tested 2 different raw tirzepatide by amino acid sequencing, and HPLC. Both tested well. I attached the AA sequencing done by a college based research facility specializing in peptides.. you can actually look at the result and see what AA make up the non- tirzepatide sample.

So most compounding pharmacies just mix the raw peptide with a solution, such as B12, bacteriostatic water or saline….

Compounding pharmacies buy from a FDA registered manufacturer directly, they test for sterility and potency. The smaller pharmacies use syringe filters and it is endotoxin tested. Bulk pharmacies uses huge filter that’s positively charged that also removes endotoxins. The endotoxin test is very expensive because it is made from the blood of horseshoe crabs.

It is smarter and cheaper to buy a finished product from a reputable compounding pharmacy in business for many years . The raw peptide could have been anywhere after leaving the plant
Wait say what now? The blood from horse shoe crabs you say

It's a terrible practice that decimates their population. We have synthetic means now, but apparently murdering the cute lil guys is cheaper.
The synthetic test was just approved this year in July in the US. Will see if it ends the practice of blood letting the crabs…. I think it becomes a USP law until next year though.

Nope I was wrong they have a synthetic test now

FUJIFILM Wako PYROSTAR… still $ 300 a test

I grew up seeing them breed on the beach every year and watching them lay their pretty blue eggs. One year I went up and down the Indian river in Florida counting them, there were hundreds of them. The population is positively decimated, and while I'm sure it's not ALL them being harvested, it's certainly not helping. I love the little guys. I used to rescue them when they washed up on shore and put them back in the water.

I'm not liking this practice at all....

I grew up on the Mississippi Gulf Coast I remember seeing them as well. Especially at the Barrier Islands… unfortunately Hurricane Katrina, the BP oil spill and freshwater from the Louisiana spillway killed much of our marine life close to shore ….

I live in fear of another big hurricane. The area I was in during Sandy was decimated. Entire areas washed away.

I moved to Tennessee after Katrina destroyed the Mississippi gulf coast. It was crazy just been moved back to hometown starting a family after military and college ……. It was horrible …… 26 miles of coastline most of it destroyed 1/2 mile - 1 mile inland…. Some places hit with a 28-32 foot storm surge.. my family lived there for 200 years…. Never know what life will bring you. Now I’m buying a retirement home in a place with the worse volcanic explosion of the 20 th century ……lol

Katrina was so much worse. I can't even imagine. It's why no matter how many times my family asks me to move to Florida I won't. I don't ever want to deal with storms like that again.

It difficult. I love living near the water, the seafood and culture ……… but I have 6 kids in Tennessee with a better job market….

I’m in Memphis and we had so many families move here temporarily during Katrina, but never went back.
