Confusing Label

Sure. OK. It's just that a "unit" is a pretty standard term when talking about injections. On a U-100 syringe, a unit is 0.01ml, and on a syringe with 1ml capacity (like you have), there are 100 units (not 50 like you had said).

Instead of taking offense, you could just take a note, so it will be easier talking about this stuff in the future. Or you can get mad at me. I don't mind either way.

I don't even use an insuline syringe. Use a pen and fill it with a 3ml syringe. Each 0.5ml is 60 units. Much easier to calculate and use. Fill 3ml cartridge at once and use it 4 weeks long without any excess air inside. Just turn the dial, put needle on, inject, needle out. Whole process takes 15 seconds. Also no risico of a rubber clogged needle or air contamination. Not contributing to threads related with syringes is much easier than putting energy in learning stuff which I don't need. Peptides are only tools in my life. Not life itself!

Afterwards, I told that I was exhausted at that moment and there were faults in my responses. Apologised for that. It was also mentioned at the end of the quote which you have responded. One thing I would suggest is to make an edit to the original post and add a note at the bottom saying this. Just so someone new going through the thread doesn't respond similarly. I for one, just get a little alarmed when people get things wrong about injections. I mean, it can be dangerous.

Final update: labeling error as expected

Make a picture of the vial showing the powder in it and place it here. It is a big amount difference. We can't say how many mg is the content. But at least tell you if it can be 10 mg or much more

How can you be so wrong and yet so confident? No one is eyeballing the difference between 50mg. That isn’t 1 gram.. that isn’t half a gram… that’s 1/20 of a grain of sand. This also totally ignores that the peptide is stored in a filler so every vial looks the same anyway!

Either you are not using standard insulin U-100 syringes or you have some kind of inaccurate magical pen.

Perhaps your confusion comes from brand name tirzepatide. The international multi-dose pre-filled KwikPens are 60 clicks per dose in 0.6 mL = 60 units. The USA single-dose autoinjectors are 1 click per dose in 0.5 mL = 50 units.

Self-filled pens and syringes as discussed here are always the U-100 standard, in which 1 mL = 100 units

Don't hurt yourself.

See the pen I use in the next post please? When I place a cartridge with 2ml constitution it is equal to 240 units on scale. Tell me what do I calculate wrong?

Is that a Lilly Kwikpen you get out there in Belgium? Or is it some pen you filled yourself? Looks very different from what we get here.

Also from China. But supposed to be the same as Lilly. After filling clicks into place. First bought a few reusable pens for about $10/piece. But were not accurate. All in the bin.

I am struggling to understand how you came to the conclusion that on this pen, 60 units are equal to 0.5 ml.

Now, don't take offense, but there is something wrong here somewhere. Because pens and syringes are pretty much standardized for a unit to be 0.01 ml i.e. 0.5 ml would always be 50 units.

How many units do you dial in to inject the 2 mg from a concentration of 10 mg/ml (I think you said)?
