Magnesium citrate will help. The calm brand is effective and decently priced. I couldn’t remember if I’d taken 2 scoops once so did one more and def gave myself a colon cleanse 🤣 I was using it while supplementing iron

You know I have a prep kit here for COLONOSCOPY 😂 (One that I never made it to) I'm ready to dive in! I talk about this shyt so much MY MATE has asked me to change the subject 🤣🤣🤷🏽‍♀️

Idk if it's a fluke or what.....but RS recently started maz in conjunction with tirzy. The day after maz dose, RS is all cleaned out 🤣
 
I take one mag o7 at night and don’t really have issues. Now, on ozempic it was bad.
Is Mag a pill? I just started fiber gummies. It's sad that it's so much out there to choose from. I have taken dulcolax... suppositories.... Chinese dieters tea....fiber gummies. 🤸🏽‍♀️Now I have to grab magnesium citrate and mag 07🤣🤣 The one thing tirzy didn't bandage 🤕 everything is really perfect except for this

My regiment is one magnesium citrate in the morning, a snack of 6-8 prunes in the evening (they're delicious and taste like big raisins) and one or two Colace pills before bed. Keeps everything moving.

I adjust the colace based on the previous days experience and where I am at in my shot clock. However, in the beginning when things weren't moving I had to take laxatives to get things going again. Haven't had to do that since September.

I like the prunes because they are a great snack in the evening with natural sugar and fiber. I buy them from Amazon in two pound bags.

Yep mag is a magnesium “cleanse” product. It’s sold to take three and shit your guts out. I take one and it keeps me moving

On ozempic I was taking stool softeners and psyllium husk daily and still blew out my o-ring with a giant turd. Not fun. It actually made me stop the sema. Had some painful moments on the sema.
 
Prunes (i.e., dried plums) are at your grocery store. Or at least they were at mine. Although they're well liked for constipation, they didn't help me much.
Dried apricots work for me too. I like both prunes and dried apricots anyway. I don’t eat them for this purpose I just eat them sometimes. Trader Joe’s sells some wet ones I like
 
I have the opposite problem where if I titrate up, I get the shits. Been off of tirzy for the last few weeks because I am on vacation and now I am constipated like hell.

I took two a couple nights ago and it was actually okay. But like you, I typically only use 1.

I read some people take one and then kind of adjust how much based on how they’re feeling. I took one a few nights and didn’t see much then took two and it sure “clensed” me right out. I could have had a colonoscopy and been clean as a whistle

Yeah, the “slow down” comes and goes, so there are nights I don’t take it at all. I adjust as needed.
 
Amitiza... I've posted elsewhere. It's not a prn Rx ( daily med), but I take it in cycles month on, month off and it works. Have to drink water constantly of course. I've always had the issue, but definitely worse on Tz. I can't live w/o my Amitiza.
 
Have the same issue, I upped my water intake a ton and that seems to help a bit.

It takes active effort to maintain a healthy microbiome for me on just 5mg/w.

- Adequate hydration (5L/d)
- Lactase 22k (for lactose digestion)
- Actimel 2x per day (l-casei)
- Kefir +100ml per day
- Psylium husk (+7g a day)
- Chia seeds (2-5g a day)

Also:
- Abdominal massage
- Up down the stairs or running

And even still I struggle from time to time if I get lazy.

My impression is a few weeks of consistent pro/prebiotic intake as such, plus enough hydration, will help by making enough short chain fatty acids in the gut helping to run more smoothly.
 
Just be aware:
  • A serving of five prunes contains 17 grams of sugar.
Most dried fruit has heavy sugar content if you are monitoring your carb intake.
Also, Mag 07 doesn't work that great for me. May work for you.
Thank you! I wasn't aware of the extra sugar. I ordered the dry prunes mentioned earlier but prunes from the fruits and vegetables section would probably be the most healthier way to go. Toss it right in a smoothie....

I was not that regular before tirzy and then on it was worse, but I eat lower carb now so that is likely why. I use two kinds of supplements (mag 07 and enzymes) as well as probiotics and it doesn't do that much more. I did notice when I stacked with a small dose of reta things started softening and happening.

Celery juice is very cleansing, in a pinch. You can get a small bottle at Trader Joe's under the Suja brand, but only try half a bottle the first time and prepare for response soon afterwards.
