crypto for idiots (aka me) lol

Alright. Ive transferred money to a PayPal wallet, have downloaded an exodus wallet. Now im going to convert 100 paypal wallet bucks to solana and try to transfer it to the exodus wallet.

Ok, i got 69 solanas for 102bucks. Lol its already down a dollar

Kinda another reason I was thinking skipping PayPal was the move 😅

Ohhhhh, so I can cash everything out of paypal and just use venmo or debit? If i was smart wouldnt be chewing up rhis thread and would be using crypto to buy peptides right now 😅🤣😂

Yeah I removed PayPal from the equation. Venmo or debit yes but at the bottom when you add funds, on the left is a card and the right is a.. coin? I suggest using XO Pay from what I can tell then using your card through that

And then if you and I did a transaction, it looks like you could send me Solana, or, if you wanted to send USDC, you’d have to pick a network and my understanding is Solana is best

It looks like when you’re ready to pay a vendor, they will give you the “address” to send it to. It has a QR code and long string of numbers and letters

O im an idiot i bought it on paypal and then transferred to exodus. If all i have to do is use a debit card to buy crypto on exodus, that doesnt seem hard? Less hard than what ive done, for the record: which is tossing money into paypal, converting it to Solana, and then transferring that to Exodus.

If you can buy directly on Exodus Just buy USDC. You do not need to buy Solana and then convert to USDC that will waste money.
 
When you are in Exodus and looking at USDC (USD Coin) The first attachment EX1 shows you USDC. WARNING!!!! Take a closer look under the coin logo.

See where it says Ethereum?

That's USDC on the eth network, you're going to want to change it to Solana. See Attachment 2 (EX2) You should get a drop down menu where you see all the different networks USDC is on.

Change it to Solana. Finally, your screen should look like attachment 3 (EX3) USDC logo Solana network underneath

Click send paste the vendors address and how much you want to send. IT IS ALWAYS GOOD TO SEND A TEST TRANSACTION OF $1 AND VERIFY THE SENDER GOT IT. Once verified send the rest.

Click Receive and that is YOUR address. If you're sending USDC on Solana from an exchange that is the address you want to send to. AGAIN IT IS ALWAYS GOOD TO SEND A TEST TRANSACTION.
