Customs clearance

I'm assuming you mean in the US because you didn't specify.

Used to be a lot faster, some vendors could get it to your doorstep in ~4days. Now I would budget 3-6 weeks. I've seen it take longer but it's not common.

If it's already in customs, a week there isn't uncommon these days. I think Chicago has a reputation for being more troublesome though.

Sometimes it gets delivered before the tracking even gets updated though.

At the rate things are going, a week will become common again in NYC too. Either they are cracking down more, people are buying more, or employees are taking summer vacations or quiet quitting.

My last shipment from India went in to NYC customs last Wednesday and was cleared Monday morning. That's not bad at all, but it used to be 24 hours and then went to 3+ days. Just nerve racking. Thankfully, I have everything I need from India for the rest of the year.

flushing is better than chi town for bust but the new gear they got in nyc for substance scanning on packs is off the wall good now

UPDATE: Went into Chicago customs on the evening of 6/29. It was just released from customs yesterday evening 7/10 to continue on its way to me
did your package look like customs opened it or anything? Mine has been in Chicago customs since July 1 and I am curious what in the world is taking so long. I had a package two weeks ago go thru Chicago customs in like two hours. Weird how some take so much longer.

10 days is not unusual. I’ve had things take several weeks. They will send you a scary letter if they confiscate your package.

I will most definitely update you once it arrives. The package is on its way to me but has not arrived

I live in Canada, and I’ve had a WBS packaged detained at customs since June 25. I once had a package detained that contained perfume that wasn’t correctly labelled, and Canada Customs sent me a letter saying it was destroyed. But no such letter this time.

Wow, that sucks. Did they reship?

From what I remember reading, Canada is more likely to seize packages compared to their southern neighbor.

Maybe WBS will reship after 30 days of being in customs? I think customs has up to 45 days to send a letter here in the US.

But I assume it's possible that it hasn't been seized, just delayed.

I got the same response from TFC and mine got released. But from what I have read about WBS they should definitely make it right.
