I usually walk for exercise, but it's cold out and I'm sulky about it. But hey, public service announcement, if you played Dance Dance Revolution back in the day but don't currently have it set up, it turns out your body doesn't know much of a difference between actually playing it and propping your laptop up on the back of your couch with headphones in and pushing go on one of several playlists on YouTube while you just do the steps.

This one's mostly "standard" plus one video where someone got confused and included a talky one, but there are basic and hard ones too if you look around.

I lost an hour doing it last night and am losing another one this evening; just pausing to post this while the cats have their dinner cause nobody needs to try to have a meal with all that going on.

I love this! I get pouty this time of year due to the weather and it being windy. This might be different enough mixed with fun.

I didn't do DDR much when it came around but it always looked like a great time.

Beat Saber comes to mind, my nieces loved that and would always emerge from the basement out of breath.

It really was. DDR and razor scooting are tied for the two best "workout that feels like just messing around and is easiest to motivate." I haven't had a television set up in years, but I was considering buying a walking pad for the winter; I think maybe I'm just going to get a playstation 2 instead and set up the television in the living room. I live alone, and this may just be one of those times where I have the freedom to do whatever ridiculous thing I want, unobserved.
