My whole month of December was off track. The anxiety with moving into a new home and then my mom visiting for the holidays I think I ate the whole month away. My mom made 8 sweet potato pies upon arriving. I swear I ate 4šŸ˜­šŸ˜­ I was able to get my belly almost flat before all of this. Right now I am trying to get back into the swing of things. Did you have a off month too? Did you eat a bunch of food? Pies cakes etc? I feel so fluffy. Just a rant post.
 
Iā€™ve definitely had an off month. My mom has been in the hospital for 3 weeks so Iā€™ve been at her place (1.5 hours from where I live) and taking care of the dog. So between the holidays, hours long hospital visits every day and stress, Iā€™ve been so off track! I did only gain 1lb though.

But you know what? Iā€™m giving myself grace. Life happens. Even if none of this was happening, Iā€™d still give myself grace because sometimes you just need to go off the rails a bit. Dwelling on it wonā€™t help anything, all I can do is move forward!

Going home next week and will thankfully be getting back on track!

That pie is a vegetable!

Sweet Potato and Pumpkin Pie šŸ„§ are great choices for the least unhealthy calorie ridden in the pie family (and desserts in general). So pat yourself in the back for choosing vegetables!
 
Definitely had an off month! I'm still losing weight, but I have NOT been making healthy choices. When I get anxiety I tend to go on hunger strikes whether I want to or not- my partner has had to bribe me to eat with ice cream on more than one occasion. (On the plus side, if you've not consumed anything at all that day, it's totally ok to have ice cream for dinner, and if you get chocolate ice cream, it's practically good for you. Chocolate is made from beans, you know, it's practically a vegetable!) On other days, I ate nothing but handfuls of nuts. My protein is in the tank and I'm having trouble getting back in the swing of things. The first two months, all the weight coming off gave me my waist back. In December I lost my butt. šŸ„²

We just gotta keep keeping on. šŸ’Ŗ We're playing the long game, what's one bad month in the rest of our lives?

My December has been off since mid November. My mom had spinal surgery and my dad started cancer therapy.

I have that Lumen device and prior to that time Iā€™d wake up in ā€œfat burn.ā€ Now I wake up in carb burn every day. They said it means my mitochondria are stressed, ok well welcome to the club lol

This! I have got to get control of my anxiety. Finding myself snacking before bed.

hahaha same! I can feel my body working overtime because of the stress and anxiety!
