Decided to split dose. What's your experience been?

Was on 7.5mg, however after 24 hours it'd peak and I'd get nasty headaches and achey legs. Tinitatus and prickly skin sensation. Someone on here suggested I split the dose, sooo last night I took 3.75mg dose and plan to take another 3.75mg on Wednesday.

Anyone else split dosing? Was it different to weekly and if so how? Not felt food suppression but I'm guessing it'll build the more split doses i take?

I split dose specifically to prevent the headaches that I’d get the day after pinning. If you check out GLP1 plotter you can put your doses in and ‘see’ how the concentration builds up and how the differences in max to min concentrations look in comparison to a once weekly dose. Splitting doses reduces the peak a little but dramatically heightens the minimum so I find I don’t get the return of food noise etc unless I need to up the dose.

Ahhhhh that sounds good!! Amazing I've been looking at the plotter

There are several things to understand about dose splitting.

As you can see in the graph, the total amount possible in your blood is lower. This is what can reduce unpleasant side effects.

You may also notice that the baseline level at steady state is higher. This means that the pulse is reduced. It's as if you were permanently keeping your finger on the doorbell button. I've seen posts in other threads from people who said the effects diminished after a few months, and these are often people who split.

You can certainly round it up to 4 if that makes it easier to calculate based on the contents of your vials. It doesn't need to be that precise: receptor affinities and degradation rates (which determine the half-life) vary between individuals. (receptor affinities ranging from 1 to 10 or 30, or even 160 times lower for certain mutations; half-lives of plus or minus one day)

I do bc a full dose at 1x/wk gives me a really bad nauseousness that I can barely function. I split dose approx every 3.5 days and I've never had any side effects... game changer.

Really appreciate the detailed reply!! Lot of great information, appreciate that. Yeahh the pulse evens out and is more linear I suppose.

Less fatigue has been the biggest win for me. 3.5 days between (Sunday morning, Wednesday evening)

I pin 4mg Friday morning and 3.5mg Monday morning...No real side effects. Slight burping, and a warm head the day after pin...just enough to make me think I am at an ok dose...Friday pin gets me through the weekend with almost no food noise...Monday pin carries me through the week...works so far... 👍

This is what I'm hoping for too! Because at the moment day two I feel horrible, basically becomes a day I can't work or do anything... Hoping split dosing makes me feel better!

Ahhh I'm hoping this works for me too, I find I'm struggling with hunger massively after a few days on a weekly!

Just a quick update.
I did my first split dose. Took 3.75mg on Sunday evening the 20th and then again 3.75mg on Wednesday evening the 24th.
Side effects are down MASSIVELY!! Didn't get the dreaded headaches I usually get on 7.5mg as well as WAY less fatigued and even my tinitatus wasn't as bad. Hunger suppression I would say is similar if not better? I definitely feel like normally by day 4/5 I'm trying to binge again, but I guess I'll know more after a few more doses.

Overall very happy tho!! Thank you to all who gave advice on here 💪

I split dose and this is my experience as well.
