Currently on my 5th week of 5mg, food noise / binging has not resolved maybe even gotten worse, i'm hoping 7.5 / 10 will help significantly, did anyone experience something similar?

i felt a strong initial effect at 2.5, went gradually to 5 (did a couple weeks at 3.3 first), but then, yes, i did get much stronger food cravings again after a couple weeks at 5 mg. going up to 7.5 helped.

anecdotally, i feel like i got used to the feeling of being on tirz after a couple of months and had to recommit to making actual healthy choices, not just letting the drug give me the right signals. but that may just be me rationalizing.

Some people get effects ( and side effects ) at low doses and some people don't. Responses to these drugs really are pretty variable. At your current dose all you can really say is you are not a super responder, so keep increasing doses and almost certainly it will start working once doses get higher. There are a few unlucky people maybe 5-10% who do not lose much weight on GLP's but unless you get to 15mg with no effect you cannot know.
After having strong effects and terrible nausea on low dose ozempic, I had hardly any side effects and not much appetite suppression when I swapped to tirz, and cranked the dose to 15mg ( very carefully ) after only a month or so before it seemed to work as well on hunger as the low dose ozempic.

I would stick with it and continue increasing dose until at least 10mg which is the dosage that clinical studies show good efficacy with.

On a separate note, ive tried tirz, reta, sema, and cagri and tirzepatide has absolutely hands down been the one that is most effective at reducing food noise and hunger. Theres just no comparison.

So stick it out, increase slowly and reevaluate at 10-15mg. No reason it doesnt work out for you.

I agree with other posts that higher doses are often needed to realize full benefits of tirzepatide, but I'm wondering if you're sure of the dose you are injecting? I just throw it out there because maybe it's something with the dosage. It can be confusing for folks just starting and I don't mean any disrespect. There was a recent post in the forum where the OP thought they were taking something like 28mg of tirz and 15mg of cagri. Turns out the maths were wrong.

Also keep in mind that there is a significant number of folks who are non-responders, perhaps in the 10-15% range. You might be one of those unfortunate folks. But before that conclusion is reached, keep titrating up, especially if you're tolerating the side effets. Keep going up and up until you feel it. But also verify your dosing.

For now I've got a dosage from pharmacy for my 5mg, but i'll be moving to gray market beyond that, but I did see some effects for a week or two at 2.5 but yeah im hoping its just a case of needing a higher dosage.

I was lucky. I responded right away at 2.5mg. Every few months seems to lose a little potency so Currently at 10mg for the last 3 months and no plans to go higher. 10 was the sweet spot for me.
