I just started out on reta. The first week I only took 1mg, just to make sure I wasn't allergic or had any adverse effects. I also stack it with tirz 7.5 (which hasn't made much of a difference for me in terms of appetite suppression, KLOW, and MOTS-C).

This week I took 2mg of reta (yesterday), and my fatigue is very noticeable. I have also been pinning MOTS-C in the AM m- f 1mg, and that usually will get me up and going for a workout, but I couldn't get myself to workout this morning, and I have been doing workouts daily for over a month. I have started to enjoy working out.

The appetite suppression is really good for me on reta (also on tirz but might taper down since it didn't do a lot), but I feel like not eating as much is making me more emotional since I no longer want to emotionally eat. My heart rate hasn't increased, so I am wondering if it's depression from not eating emotionally or the reta (or both).

If it is the reta, will the fatigue pass soon?

Close. You were already "more emotional" in general; food was helping you numb that. Now that you don't have your numbing agent anymore, your feelings are bigger.

It's why I'm messy for awhile any time I start eating less, cause ope, kicked my coping mechanism right out from under me and god help anyone around me til I develop others.

I was on trt first.

Probably the first 2 weeks I was good and then fatigue set in. That next month I really struggled with fatigue. Probably the 2 mths mark it went away. I did start on HGH as well, so I’m not sure that affected the fatigue going away.. but I feel great now!

My dosages went like this:
500mcg 2x/wk for a week. 750 mcg 2x/wk for a week. 1mg 2x for 2 weeks. 1.5mg 2x/wk for 2 weeks. 2mg 2x/wk for 2 weeks. And currently running 2.5mg 2x/wk. Currently at 3mg 2x/wk where I’ll probably stay here for awhile..

My goal is to work my way up to the 8mg mark /week where I’ll then back it down to a maintenance dose!

I went through about 10 days of fatigue on reta, pretty much right at the beginning. It tapered down to no fatigue at all over the course of 4 or 5 days. So yeah, it eventually goes away (or at least it did for me).

I had fatigue also but found out that if I take electrolytes daily I feel way better. Apparently Reta makes you go through minerals, etc. way quicker than normal and it shows in different ways. Fatigue is one of them. I had blood work done recently and my low electrolytes showed on three parts of my tests. I started doing LMNT packs in my water and it’s helped…including my vision. I found my eyes were getting tired and blurry during the day. After I drink one it helps clear it all up again.

I'm currently doing about 6-7mg / week and no fatigue. I don't really remember it even when I first started it, but I went from semaglutide straight to reta.

I got more energy when I titrated up.
When the glukagon part came more and more to the party.
But you need to eat the minimum, you will be depressed from low bloodsugar etc and it won’t help on your energy levels.
Emotional eating, well I ‘missed’ that a lot in the beginning. I did a lot of exercise, 6 days per week, it helps. You need to work on the emotional eating part, but it’s difficult I know.
